  Awesome. My g-shock strap is starting to crack. A replacement one is about US$22 … or I could just buy a new watch for a bit more!

  How do you find the reverse white-on-black LCDs?

    I don't have a g-shock, but I previously had a white-on-blank timex ironman. I found it really difficult to read in sunlight - the shadow of all the black made the "white" difficult to read.

    Perhaps Casio have a better implementation of it…

    G-shock are getting better with the reverse/negative displays, but some people find them difficult to read and they will never be as clear as a standard display for viewable angle. It's just personal preference.

    If you're not happy with the white-on-black then in most cases you can reverse it with some basic tools and a little bit of care:

      Thanks for the link… haha I remember reversing the polariser on my calculator in school. Cheap thrills. :)

      Good to know I can do it on the g-shock as well, if I find it too frustrating.

  Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months.

  Thanks OP, ordered one. I was looking at a ~$25 replacement strap for my current watch just last week. Good thing I procrastinated… it's more worth it adding $30 and getting a whole new watch!
