    Just warning everyone that curves has an exit fee (my wifes a member). Make sure you read the fine print on their contracts (wifes also includes minimum one year membership).

    Curves 'exit fees' are the most generous in the industry and usually equate to nil. Nobody is locked in, even on a 12 month agreement. Ask how it works when you check them out, or indeed read the fine print. Each Curves is individually owned, there is the potential for a mismanaged one to make a mistake or not adhere to the franchise guidelines which possibly happened to your wife.
