  • Same voucher code as my December post, but new expiry date…
    Don't forget the MBC 25% cash-back!
    [ :- { )

    • I used MBC but only received 5% - any idea why?

      • wats mbc?

        • Stands for Money Back Co. - Google it :)

        • +1

No need to google it — just click on the MoneyBackCo link in the Store Profile section and you'll see what's it about. MBC does say 25%, although after checking out with clixGalore (the aff network Menulog is with), apparently you get

          • 5% off Home Delivery
          • 25% off Restaurant Bookings

          Hopefully that makes sense.

      • probably ask MBC direct … thanks for the heads up on only getting 5% back … I thought that 25% sounded awfully generous :)

        MBC is moneybackco.com

If you follow the instructions etc and join up with them for "free", they can send you a portion of the referral fees from some sites. Note: Usually you have to wait 2 - 3 months for payment. Note 2: They keep the first $10 of referral fees each year but do not charge you, at present, if your referral fees for the year are less than $10.

*** NO MENULOG RESTAURANTS AT ALL IN SOME AREAS ***

    Such as the Central Coast.

So pretty useless for most poeple.

    • So, because a posted "bargain" is not of use to you personally, you vote -ve for it!!!

Some restaurants ILLEGALLY REFUSE TO ACCEPT the Menulog vouchers, despite the fact that they are part of the Menulog System:

    • "Illegal" refers to breaking the law. Are you sure that's the word you meant to use?

Besides which, that comment was referring to confusion on the part of junior staff at some restaurants.

Lastly, that person implies the voucher was accepted; it was just a hassle if dealing with junior staff.

So, you know, if a junior staff member does not understand what you are talking about, ask for a senior person (or the manager) who might be more familiar with the deal.

    *** NOT A FREEBIE ***

    Cannot get a $10 meal.

    Must spend some money first.

    • +1

Others and myself seem to think this is a freebie. I'm sorry they don't have restaurants in your area, but that doesn't mean it's a bad deal. And not all restaurants on the Menulog website accept vouchers, it says so on the site itself. Only where it says 'vouchers accepted' near the retaurant name do they accept vouchers.

  • Might like to keep in mind - this is the same voucher code as previously mentioned in at least one other post but with a different expiry date. Looks like they keep extending the expiry date so might be worth a shot trying it out even after 31/03.
