some people don't need a phone :D (joking)
i would love to see a price fight between kogan and ss, similar to the ipad logitech keyboard a few months ago ;)

      • +5

If you get both Samsung Galaxy S4 4G and SanDisk 32GB Micro SD, Total is ($599 + $19.95) = $618.95. The deal in this post should be better

who pays for postage back to you…. if there is a issue?

  • Loving this competition between online sellers. Good work on price beating. Can we opt for no SD card plus free shipping?

    • +1

im pretty sure this deal has the micro SD card separate to the phone price. Kogan includes a free 32gd micro SD card.

    • I think you'll find they've cleverly deceived you with the wording of the title just after you've looked at Kogan's deal . The SD card ain't free in this deal. ;)

  • the code isnt working for me, has anyone else got it?

    • which item do you want to buy?

      • there is no benefit going for the 3g version right? if not I'll get the 4g for the same price

How about a bargain on an S3.

The stock status for S3 is not stable right now, may not be enough stock for promotion.

        What about the Xperia Z?

        • I just created another coupon code for Xperia Z @ $553.95 delivery. I post it in our facebook page (because this post cannot support 2 different coupon code)

          https://www.facebook.com/ShoppingSquare.com.au

        • Confusion here… It's coming up $533.95 on the website, and code doesn't work?!?

        • nvm, worked it out.

    • +3

If you get both Samsung Galaxy S4 4G and SanDisk 32GB Micro SD, Total is ($599 + $19.95) = $618.95. The deal in this post should be better.

        Yep that's right.
Are they ship from Australia or ship from abroad?
I plan to buy two of them and don't want to pay importing duties.

        • +5

It's shipped from Hong Kong (within 1 to 2 weeks) by Express Shipping

No Tax and Duty if your total order amount is less than AU$1,000. If you plan to get 2, Please order 1 piece per order and put different name of receiver (e.g. your family member living with you, or office address and home address)

          http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page5549.asp

        • And dani will throw in 2 sandisk 32gb cards for free if you order 2 to the same shipping address.

    • +5

Well Rep, at least price match or even beat the Kogan's deal

This deal = 618.95 including card
      Kogan = 628

for him to match the deal, he needs to add $11

    • +6

      why fail?

      • Apologies I listened to aboutconfig without calculating my self its a good deal!

        • +7

  • Kogan has waiting period of 3 weeks on s4's.. by then price will drop 50$

    • Their estimated delivery is slow but they're usually a lot faster. From my experience: S3 delivered in 6 days, Gnexus 10 days and note took 2 weeks (QLD).

Edit: btw this is from Kogan

    • Use 28 degrees card with price insurance. :)

      • Is there a limit as to how many times you can claim the price difference within 6 months? Sounds too good to be true

        • Once!

  • Kogan is $628 with sd card and SS is $619 with sd card. How is kogan cheaper if you don't take into consideration of before and after sales services.

    • True but do you really want to be waiting 3 or even 4 weeks for your phone to arrive.. in that time could get it for less.. think about it. Plus Kogan are known to pull dick moves like extending that period and/or voiding the order cos of no stock on hand.

  • +1

Hey Rep, How about a deal on the Xperia Z?

We've been waiting for a good one for agesss!
If you look at this thread: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/104994

Do people not know how to read anymore?

    • I think it took about 10 days from ordering to delivery for my i9505.

  • +1

    @ danilochan

do you provide ABN tax invoice.
    would like to claim TRS

    • +3

      No, because there's no GST.

    • There is no GST for this product. We will provide a invoice for warranty purpose.

      • Do you handle warranty issues? Or Samsung?

        • +2

As it is imported stock, Samsung wont support it locally. Otherwise OZ stock will have 24 months warranty.
I am sure ShoppingSquare will be managing the warranty themselves. means you send the mobile to them and they repair it for you.

        • With Unique Mobiles, you send it to Samsung, they repair it, and UM pays the bill.

        • It is only for the stock from Aus. Unique mobiles also sells imported stock. That would be repaired by themselves and it will have only 1 year warranty.

        • No… the phone I bought was import. The reason UM has to pay Samsung to repair it is because they're not covering it under warranty. Samsung won't honor the warranty, but they will still repair it if you pay them. UM simply pays the bill on your behalf.

        • Thats quite surprising. As repair charges would be quite high and they will not make any profit out of the phone.

Any deal on Samsung Note II 4G?

  • +6

I'm too interested in Note 2. Can you make a deal on this?

  • -1

Rep, do you give tax invoice? Does it include GST?

    • +4

come on,.. clearly on this price it is grey import, no gst, but yes you got invoice

        • +2

He's not in Australia. You're not paying any more tax than you would be if you're buying from Amazon.

        • No it's a foreign entity dealing directly with Australians, you do not need to pay GST.

  • @ danilochan

Thanks again for the deal. Ordered. I was wondering if it was possible to change the name on the invoice?

    Cheers.

  • -5

2 places ill never buy from is Kogan and Shopping Square. Perhaps im fully against grey imports due to bad experiences with my s2 4g i got from SS and the s3 from Kogan. I emailed their cust service multiple times over delayed shipment of my phone and i also didnt get it as "sealed". My advice for those wanting the phone is to wait for next AU stock pricedrop then price beat with OW…that was u could also try and use Mastercard paywave claiming to save more. Also make sure u get class 10 cards or higher otherwise u are bound to run into problems

    • +5

i also didnt get it as "sealed".

For grey import - most of them source it from the cheapest… source, that could be india, vietnam, the usually take it out of the box to check it to see if its fine and change the language to English, before selling it to you.
It's still new, and they don't claim it as "Sealed" [this isn't eBay where they claim it's sealed to add credibility!]. Also, sealing does ABSOLUTELY nothing. All you pay for is… to be able to cut open plastic?
Unless the phone has scratches or it's obvious it is in a Used condition - I don't see why you should kick a fuss over the plastic being removed.

that was u could also try and use Mastercard paywave claiming to save more.

Good advice, but have fun waiting half a year :)

      • +1

The covers had been removed. Like most people, when i buy something "NEW", then something "sealed" and untouched is pre-req. RE: waiting half a year…um, do you have any concept of price-drops on new phones? Clearly not. I won't have to wait half a year, like most others who rare hunting for a great LOCAL deal, e won't have to wait more than 4-6 weeks or so…

        • The covers had been removed

You mean the initial screen cover all over the phone that says something like "Samsung 4.8" AMOLED Display" sticker thingy?

when i buy something "NEW", then something "sealed" and untouched is pre-req.

Stick with AU stock then :)

um, do you have any concept of price-drops on new phones?

Of course, but price-drops in Australian retailers? Sure, when they're not selling well they'll do one, however long that takes considering the S4 is a very new product to the Australian market, that's up to you to guess and wait.

    • +1

agreed with Roosta, same 2 vendors I will avoid. mainly they took 3 weeks to deliver my phone.

      • A friend of mine got their S4 delivered by Kogan in a week and a half. The 2 - 3 weeks is to cover Kogan's backside in case of delays

Ships in 2-3 weeks <- from Kogan website
Why would you buy off Kogan if you see those words, and you're not happy to wait the quoted period?

    • My advice for those wanting the phone is to wait for next AU stock pricedrop then price beat with OW…

If you're willing to wait long enough that the S5 is out, go ahead.

You could expect an AU stock S3 at this price, but not an S4.

  • +2
  • can anyone confirm 28 degrees credit card have price protection on shoppingsquare product?

    • It's a grey import… Not too sure if 28 degrees price protection covers grey imports. Might be worth calling them to find out.

      • If they have an Australian Postal Address, you should be OK. Has worked fine for others with Kogan HK and Unique Mobiles HK.

2 weeks later: I haven't received my phone!!
another 2 weeks: Still not received the phone!! emailing SS cust service
another week passes: Finally got confirmation email that the phone is in transit!!
By then: Another store drops the S4 price to $550 delivered. I should've waited for this!!

what's the likelihood of something like this happens?

I am interested in Samsung Note II 4G. Any deal for this?

    • Me too, there hasnt been any decent Note 2 deals in a long time. Atm its overloaded with S4 deals lol

  • Hi I am very interested in buying 2, but first I would like to know if the phones will come sealed in box?

  • @danilochan - Where does the i9505 is made, Korea or Vietnam?

    Thanks!

    • To help with the first part of your question/s…
Just under the picture of the phone where it says 'Colour', click on the drop down menu just beside it and change it to 'Black', or back to 'White' if you should happen to change your mind back!!!
Edit: I gather you've found it now!!!

      • I saw the black i9505 on the same deal. thanks!

Have u order one? Looks like its a good deal.

What happen if I received a faulty phone?

Anybody knows the warranty process, easy?

  • -4

Kogan has the exact same deal for $8 more, so I decided to order from them since they have better reviews and quicker shipping time.

    • Sorry PW, but people on here are about to cane you for this one!
I won't comment on the review side of it as that's a matter of personal opinion…
But Kogan shipping is stated as being 2-3 weeks and Shopping Square says 1-2 weeks!

      • that's only maximum shipping time, many posted on another forum only took 3-5 days.

No use negged me, I was referring to these reviews.

        http://www.productreview.com.au/p/shopping-square.html?ref_r…

        • Wasn't me mate…
But I can see the writing on the wall already, or in this case… your post!
I think you'll find lots of people have very differing examples of delivery times out of Asia, and even locally. Took a colleague of mine 6 weeks just to get a sim from Kogan! Very hit 'n' miss!!! Good Luck

        • @Snoop, have you placed your order for the S4 today?

        • I'm due for a new contract or renew my existing one.
I'll get caned for saying I'll stick with VF, but I've got the old $45 Infinite plan, so I'll just upgrade the handset!
Mrs needs one outright after losing her Iphone Fail… I mean Five!!!

        • At the moment, reading some comments in another forum, someone said it's better off on a Telstra $23 x 24 months contract = $552 + 2 years local warranty. :)

        • Old VF $45 Infinite plan is infinite free calls to any number in Aus (exc 1800 etc.), infinite free SMS and MMS to any mobile number worlwide, 1GB data and $45 worth of calls to anything else not included.
This is why they want me to change plans to something new!!!

        • however, one of the disadvantages going local stock is the updates, AU ones tends to receive update several months after overseas version. My colleague's Kogan sourced Note I got JB updates at least 3 months before my Oz stock.

  • Hey Dan, Do you think that ShoppingSquare will drop the price over the next 6 months as dramatically as Kogan will? E.G. Keep up in price?

Debating whether or not to use my 28 degrees with you guys or Kogan.

    • yeah….thinking the same….any input from anyone???
