      bit of an unfair comparison

      i have 2 exynos devices and they have proven to be unusually fast

      tegra 3 is still a good system and its the same as nexus 7

        I agree, both the Tegra 3 and Exynos 4 Quad are four ARM Cortex A9 cores, so performance should be similar. Either way they're both of the same generation (A9 cores and similar).

        Next generation up is the current generation, A15 cores and similar (e.g. Qualcomm Krait)

    However as refurbished you may have a problem if you want to unlock & use custom Roms.

    I bit. I think we are guinea pigs for the new payment gateway.

    The payment gateway said the payment was successful, but the error message on returning to the shopfront is confusing and does not instil confidence!

        The payment gateway seems trustworthy and secure.

        Check that all the credit card info is correct and that the purchaser name matches the credit card name.

        I ended up buying a refurbished laptop instead. I got the same paradoxical message the first time I tried, but it was because I had selected primary account holder which was not correct. When I tried again and selected secondary card then it went through okay. There are now two transaction entry shown as pending in my credit card account, but I believe that's normal if the transaction is not successful. I expect the one entry will vanish in a couple of days.

    Just means you were lucky,and had the original motherboard in there, or it had never been unlocked. If you get a return that had been previously unlocked, repaired then eventually replaced again, you can have great difficulty unlocking.
    Hence the ''may have a problem'' and not ''will have a problem.''
    As noted on XDA and TransformerForums various people have had this problem after getting an unlocked unit repaired.Mismatched mac address to serial no. in the unlock database.

    Easy to get that many as an individual I had 4 DOA TF300's all different faults, can't be sold as new even if they were easy fixes.

    Just ordered mine today. Commenting on their service as someone here asked. Service was great. After my purchase online, I wanted to throw in a $5 case but didn't want to pay $9 shipping for the single item. So I called them up. They were nice enough to take my new order, and ship it together with the tablet all for free. As for quality of refurbished item, I suppose I have to wait and see.

      You'll find the quality to be quite amazing. All refurbished products that I have purchased have looked brand new (laptops and tablets).
