Went to my local Woolies today (newmarket) and at the register they asked if I wanted a free platter. Well of course I did. It seemed all registers had them. They are S&P brand. Looks like the one from previous post with purchase of Philly. But I made no such purchase. Nor did other shoppers. I presume they are just getting rid of them. Not sure about other stores.

This may be woolies specific.. like the coke yoyos.. when the coke promotion was over they had a bunch left over.. The Wynard Syd one gave me one with no coke purchase.. The Townhall Syd one said i had to buy a box of coke in a really annoyed tone like shes told that too many times or something lol..
EDIT: As a new promotion you can get a large tall pasta tin with purchase of pasta and sauce.
Sounds store specific. I work at a supermarket and sometimes we have tons of leftover stuff from various promotions that get given away to anyone and everyone. A platter sounds good in comparison to the dozens of troll sauce dispensers that were a flop..
Not bad considering they are valued at $24.95. Might have to go back tomorrow. Never know when you need a platter or 3. Might even give them as gifts.
