I might also add that I did buy a torch from you which I was happy with. Just when it comes to clothes your waaay below par. The jacker I bought (ozbargain $20 special) reeks of mold and others here in the forums have complained that the material has started to degrade due to mold damage.

      • You shouldn't be posting links like that to try and add credibility. All it does it make your site look dodgy.

So far I've seen 48 people who posted 1 review and only signed in to post a 5 star review on banggood, 3 people posted 5 star reviews for banggood and one other site. 6 people have posted negative reviews which have been responded to almost immediately.

It's not surprising when someone signs up to something to make a disgruntled post, however how many people sign up to tell people that they ordered a product and it arrived and in many cases how great the customer service was (even though you don't speak to customer service when there's no issues).

  • I got my free iPhone 5 and GS 3 screen protectors from banggood and buysku without an issue. Will see if i get these sticky pads i ordered this time

  • Scored one. Second attempt, "This coupon could only be used 1300 times."

    • haha,You can go to buy lottery tomorrow!D:

  • LOL I think I bought the last one?

I know because I wanted to buy 2 and upon trying for the 2nd time it gave me this:
"This coupon could only be used 1300 times."

  • I missed this deal. But found them on ebay for $1, so I decided to buy one. It will come from China though so it will take a while.

    • i'm not too worried about that…. especially when buying books, everywhere else in the world is faster than buying online from a .com.au site. it's a shame.

  • Does anyone else wonder how much the postage on these costs? And who covers the difference in the postage rate?

I love these deals but seriously, what the hell is going on when things are posted from 8,000kms away are sent cheaper than if I wanted to post an envelope 20kms.

    • nothing wrong is going on, we are very lucky to be living here and not over there. appreciate it. ;)

    • I feel the same way about amazon US being able to send me something for cheaper than an Australian pc store about 30 mins drive away can send it to me.

Something about mass postage discounts deals is the reason I pulled out of my ass to explain it.

Other sites cheat too though through markups on price to make up the difference. For example amazon uk will deduct VAT but zavvi won't, though zavvi only charges £1 shipping to au.

      • AUS Post charges a lot more than the post office / air mail of other countries. That's mostly down to AU cost of living, aka inflation or aussie tax. Stuff costs more here because everyone earns more. That includes postage.

        • that's not just a good justification.
recent news is that they bump up the prices by 20% "just because" they want a share of the pie of all these internet trades.

I still think basic services like postage shouldn't engage in profiteering and should be regulated.

        • While I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case, I'm sure that's only part of the equation.

I've had friends in the US send me things in the past because some items wouldn't be sold to Au. The shipping prices were around double what I would expect Amazon to charge for a package of similar size/weight. I tried to shop around for options of postage too online and still couldn't find anything near what Amazon charges.

With http://pe.usps.com/businessmail101/getstarted/advantages.htm , I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon negotiated their own deals with postal services simply on the volume of mail they send with all there mailing facilities. In my experience you'll generally find the bigger a store, the less the charge for postage. This goes for almost anything including ebay sellers that have huge feedback numbers.

As far as I know all the postal services around the world pay each other for finishing the leg of the trip in the destination country anyway so even prices of our postal service should affect stuff being sent to us.

        • agree. though what peeved me most was the increase in pricing for domestic parcels/mail.

i mean, whats up with the big whinging about people not buying local online when even the local companies are trying to screw other local companies?

  • A word to the wise on this item and others like it… DON'T. I had one (clearly not exactly the same but likely from the same manufacturing source) given to me by a friend. I was on the road a lot with my job. The summer heat had its way with the pad on its second year and it melted (sludge, as someone commented).. you'd think… OK, take it off the dash and pitch it… easier said than done. It took days and days to get rid of the rubbish that was left behind, and even now, there;s some gunk that bonded to the dash material and I cannot get it off without damaging the dash itself. I'll never have one of these again.
