Poor quality. Both sides of plug now cut out. Have to keep fiddling with gird t Cord to maintain a charge

Do not buy. Ruins phone screen. Cable has overheated my Samsung s20, now have permanent green and pink lines down my screen. Do not buy.

  • Damn, they've been cleaned out quick. The only item you've listed that's available for delivery now is the 2m USB-C to USB-C. I tested all the others, in-store only.

Probably depends on location. I just got the holder for delivery. (Gonna use it on my desk. For $3 i'll give it a shot).

  • maximum output of USB-A: 18W or USB-C: PD20W

    • This charger can do PD 20v/1.5A, so it is 30w

The wall charger, how do you get pd30w when

    With a total output of 5V – 3A Max

    • I’m guessing each port can do 5V x 3A = 15W each, totalling 30W. But many cheap chargers can’t actually provide the full 15W out of both ports at the same time, so that spec could be misleading.

    • This charger can do PD 20v/1.5A, so it is 30w

  • I bought a couple of the cables. They don't work at nice high speed charging. Only moderately high speed. Only works with some of my chargers.

  • They were out of stock and substituted better quality Antsig USB-A to USB-C cables for my online order. Very happy. Thanks OP!

  • As of earlier this afternoon, there were still some of these out the front of the Dural (NSW) store:

Seems like they are being replaced by $11.95 varieties:

Still the same 'click' brand, but some of the cables how have flashing LEDs I think (meaning poorer charging efficiency?), and the plugs now claim higher charge rates on their packaging.
Still no safety markings on the packaging that I can see…

…there is a 'tick on a circle' symbol printed at the back of the packaging - sorry forgot to take a photo of it - but it does not look like anything official.

YMMV of course with the $3 ones - personally I have bought an USB-C to lightning cable, and it works fine and charges quick enough for me, including via various reputable wall chargers, and via a Romoss 30,000 mAh power bank on a recent interstate road trip - only needed to have it plugged in intermittently to keep the batteries of a refurb iPhone 12 mini, a 2nd gen iPhone SE, and an iPhone 8 Plus between say 30-70%.

My only concern is the lack of safety markings suggesting a lack of safety certification/compliance - do you think the USB-C to USB-C will fry my notebook?
(I know there is only one - very expensive - way to really find out for sure! But keen to hear your thoughts on this.)
