Same deal as this one

but the link's actually showing correct T&Cs and seems to work. Pretty straight forward really, free 10K FF points + free FF Visa card for first year.

It appears that they wave the first $95 annual fee which includes the $55 rewards program fee.
"Following the initial waiver, for ANZ Frequent Flyer a Total Annual Fee of $95 applies which includes a $40 Annual Account Fee and a $55 Rewards Program Services Fee."
"This points information applies to new customers only. "
Damn
open use all the points and close it? wonder if theres any catch?
It's one of the 4 major banks. I doubt there would be any catches!
</sarcasm>
there shouldn't be, I'm using the card the same offer right now, so far no issue. There's no limit to the first initial purchase and the bonus will be credited to your FF account within 3 months.
You must apply, be approved and activate your card by 31 May 2013 to be eligible.
Good luck receiving your card in time to activate within that time. I certainly wouldn't be taking up this offer specifically for FF points, given that you may not receive the card in time to qualify. The additional card holder fees are a shocker.
hence the 15 days expiration for the deal, I got my card within 9 calendar days. And unlike this one you can apply online, mine was a mailed-in application. You can try to apply in branch or over the phone (not sure if the offer available via those channels); and I'm not sure if it's gonna make the process any faster.
You'll earn 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases using your ANZ Frequent Flyer American Express card and 1 point for every $2 spent on eligible purchases using your ANZ Frequent Flyer Visa card.
Not good value where amex not accepted or surcharge.
Both my wife and I did this when they had the deal a couple of years ago. Kept the cards for the required months to get the points then cancelled.
It was a really easy 20,000 points!
Damn…just saw it today.
Do they still charge you $55 Reward Program Fee on top?
