        were you there? just same back from there - there was 1 of everything that was cheap. They were refunds/warranty repairs anyways as the boxes were smashed.

        the last centre com sale was the same thing.
        the 1st/2nd guys in line grabbed everything.

        (there was about 100 people in line when they opened)

        guess I learned my lesson….

      I know a person who behaves similar to JV.
      and let me tell you, it's a nightmare for his family.
      he couldn't live with anyone because he can't live with himself.
      he keeps spiraling downward.
      but they coudn't just stand and watch.

      I think he's around the same level as JV.

  will the $49 samsung laptop be good enough to just leave on all day and night? Was planning to use to download torrent files and share things on my network… like a media server kinda thing

    I don't find a problem leaving it overnight for downloads. But as a media streamer, no Gigabit nor USB 3/Esata, let alone an atom processor. Might stutter on high bitrate 720p, definitely wont do 1080p over network.

Woke up late and arrived Sunshine store at 9:45, with a long queue infront… All those limited good bargains are gone, I think there are only 10% of cheap stuffs attract people to getdown… and all 90% are normal price for me! Got the NEXTBOOK PREMIUM 8 DUAL CORE HDMI BT $69 and TP-LINK Portable Wireless N Router MR3040 $29, didn't buy the NEXTBOOK PREMIUM 8 at last, it's not that bargain for me… its just marketing for people to buy the normal price stuffs when missed the bargains

  went to the store.
  they explained to me how it works.

  around 8am in the morning, they take one or 2 items from the shelf, place on the bargain desk, mark it down and that's the promotion.

  their aim is to attract as many people to line up for those few items in the morning as possible.
  so if you get to the shop past 8:30am, there won't be any "on promotion" item left on the table.
  they will then try to lure you into buying other items in the shop instead.

  it's a rather sneaky way to do promotion.
