  i would not expect any specials from dell.
  once you can see a good price on their Web site, most likely it is so called "technical error".

  I think the price has been dropping over the last couple of months. It was $599, then went up to $699, then came back down to $599, and $589 and now it's at $549. "Good price" compare to a few weeks ago, but then again almost every gadget came down in price over time…
