Seen at Town Hall Woolworths in George Street Sydney.
Available in Red and White, or plain White.
Simple 12 piece set, but a nice design I thought - and not too thick walled.
Posting from my phone so am keeping it simple.

I also saw this at Food for Less, Roselands,NSW last week
Good one. Are they owned by Woolworths?
Might be available at other Woolworths or Big W stores?
Edit:
Did you think it was a 'bargain' at this price?
Yeh, Food for Less = Woolies
I'm not sure as I use fancy pants plates and crockery…. so that's why I didn't go for it
edit: but at ~$1 a piece, I don't think you can get much cheaper than that (I think? :S)

I used to, but my wife took our Royal Dolton and Villaroy and Bosh (spelling?) to Japan. So I am using left over and gift crockery at the moment. Not too much of it matches.
Couldn't carry it at the time. I might go back and get a box of the Plain White ones.
wow your wife took crockery to Japan :s
Yeh, I ended up buying a box of the plain white ones. Figured it's a good deal no matter how you look at it lol

Yup, and Waterford crystal glasses. Check-in luggage, and carry-on (the crystal).
was just at Food for Less, Roselands. Plenty in stock (10+ boxes) of the white, a few of the red.
ive actually seen this at my local woolies this week (been there 3 or 4 times the past week)
wld be helpful to tell ppl which store you saw it at
Is this not a better deal?

At $10 for 16 pieces (one gets the extra 4 mugs) instead of $12 for 12 pieces - it is cheaper overall by $2, and cheaper per piece - 63cents each Vs $1 each.
But, a better bargain? I think not. I purchased the Kmart ones some time ago for my son for a temporary rental property (I think they were $10 back then as well). They were not very nice, and the ones left after a few months were tossed out.
I have not yet bought the Woolworth ones, but I would not mind using them myself. I like the design better, particularly the lack of the 'lip' on the bowls.
