Loretta Maine - Bipolar is cheaper at Halftix $18.45.

In fact many more deals posted there on a daily basis.

  • I tried to see if there was a Sydney version of the site by replacing 'melbourne' in the URL with 'sydney'. There was no site so I'm assuming this type of discount site isn't available for Sydney-siders? I have heard clubs or comedians themselves 'paper the room' to generate interest beyond family and friends (if a show isn't selling well at the headline price the talent needs to gain additional awareness - so the room isn't 'dead'). I was thinking in this day and age the way to do it would be on an online site such as 'halftix', is there an equivalent one in Sydney? Because I'm not 'in the loop' I always pay full price for my comedy tix and turn up on some nights thinking 'yeah right, sure everyone here paid XX(X)'.

    • lasttix had some comedy show tickets on sale - Tracey Morgan for example (which was… interesting)

      • Thanks for the heads up. I signed up for them for the STONE concert (but didn't buy tickets). I've also noticed similar one off deals for corporate seminars (tony robbins, arnold schwarzenegger) on coupon sites like cudo, living social, ourdeal, spreets, star deals (now groupon), scoopon etc. not COTD they only seem to sell consumables not 'experiences'.
