  • Can I buy more than one and use them month after month? or does it not work like that?

    • Works with Telstra starter packs doesn't it ;)

      • +1

Wait so I can buy 10 for 10 months of Boost? (Keeping my same number?)

        • +1

No -Unfortunately you would need to port out to keep your number-
adds a two dollar sim and your time /effort if you want to go that way…

        • Sorry I am a little slow or just not understanding, but what would the process involve exactly if I wanted to buy 10 of these and keep the same number for 10 months?

I get there would be some messing about but exactly what would that be? best to know before I load up

        • +3

Ok sure this can be tiresome tho haha(this should be the case whenever you want to change networks)
Purchase the Boost Sims x Months (10 in your case)
Purchase the $2 sims (9 off them) from optus/voda etc

Each time your Main credit is expiring you need to port out to your $2 Optus /Voda sim
then port back over to Boost with your Boost starter kit.
i did say it was tiresome…

(and may have been a bit quick to say it is like the telstra deal earlier, -as you can use credit me2u there.)

        • How long does porting take? From Telstra to Optus/Vodafone to Telstra?

      • I'd like to know this as well. Is this just a sim or does it have a recharge voucher that can be used on any boost sim? I'm assuming you will need to change phone numbers to use this, but if not please confirm.

        • +1

not a voucher… sorry i would have cleaned them out before i posted
          evil grin

  • So can I port my current number to this starter kit yeh??

    • thats the idea of this starter kit to get you to MOVE to Boost

      • sweetness..giving this a go!

  • All that on the Telstra network is a pretty good deal, definitely worth it for one month. Dip you know when the vouchers expire?

    • +1

      @ Mikeologos
the Sim kit i bought expires Feb 2015… hope that helps

(maybe check before purchase in PO)

      • Thanks! Still got 2 more months left on kogan mobile, so I'll get one of these for then.

  • anybody knows if there is any Australia post staff discount on this? and if yes how much it is?

    • +1

Ask one of their staff. …oh wait.

  • So I am with tpg. Would it be worth swapping to this at all?

  • NANO SIM???? for iphone 5

    • ok only showing normal/micro
      EDIT: from Boost website
No, we do not yet have Nano SIMS for iPhone 5s.

        FARK DAT

Would help if you added in what's so good about this deal. This deal looks good if you are after unlimited calls. If you want data the telstra $30 sim for $10 is a better deal.

    • Sorry could you be a bit ruder

      No pleasing some…

      • -1

Wasnt meant to be rude buddy just trying to be informative for the other ozbargainers out there. :)

Anyway good find on a deal if someones looking for unlimited phone plan.

        • Now you have come back why not spell out the amazing differences in the deals when you posted your comment…
like you asked of us ?

          still waiting :)

        • -1

Both reasons for getting the telstra one and your (no 'us' here) are already in my first post buddy. Its the exact same reason you added to your bargain description only now.

        • Well do you do the same when everyone posts a Samsung galaxy 3 deal post ?
it is a deal for the sim not a rave deal for the plan i posted.

          (i rest my case)

        • No you havent and it is obvious you cant take constructive criticism so i am done with this thread. I was only trying to help out because there was nothing to say what was so good about your deal because it was so lacking in detail. Admit it dude if i wanted to be mean i could have just said telstras own kit was better for data, then nobody would know what was so great about yours at all.

Sure the 30 for 10 Telstra sim is great. Except it's not currently available, so, you know, show some respect to the op for sharing.

What makes this a good deal? It's half price, what more do you want?

      • +2

        @brentsbits Thanks for the support

        Just as an FYI
for those that care- the $30/ down to $10 telstra deal is on at Auspost with the same Dates

maybe mr firstpost bekind will be happy now ;)

      • Sure the 30 for 10 Telstra sim is great. Except it's not currently available

it still is at auspost until next sunday
        http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/97240

edit: just saw your post below

    • Also, what makes this good is that if someone is after unlimited calls, it's a better deal than any telstra offer if you are actually going to make phone calls and use it as an actual phone service, rather than just leeching the credit for Google Play or whatever else.

Also assuming you don't need 4G because according to their website Boost is still 3G only.

EDIT: Also, I've been made aware that the 10 for 30 deal is on at AusPost. I thought it was Coles only for the moment and had expired.

      • It wasnt meant to be rude i was merely saying that if someone puts up a bargain they need to at least explain in one or two words why they think its a bargain otherwise it could be just spam. half price alone doesnt make something a bargain either. There are so many mobile plans out there with so many different things about them you cannot say something is a good deal just because the price came down 50%.

Looks like the only selling feature youve named for this sim over the telstra one is the unlimited phonecalls which i already pointed out was its strong point. .

  • anyone know if woolies mobile have/getting nano sims?

  • +1

Good deal. I used the boost freebies recently for me to realise i must go Telstra where I live. Only just activated my Telstra Wifi so got 5Gb to go thru. Will get some of these boost kits to use when data expires-no need to unlock wifi woohoo

  • -1

Anyone know if you can use this credit for Google play?

    • +3

why not get the Telstra ones?? $10 for 30 credits better than this $20 for 40 credits

      • -1

So, where are they available at the moment?

        • +2

          At Auspost stores

        • -1

That deal is currently on? I thought it had expired.

        • +2
