Sennheiser HD650 for $344AUD Shipped

31

The price just reduced this morning, now it is the same with Kogan and other grey imports (about AUD $368) Actually, i am waiting for another big drop to buy this one, but if the waiting time is so long, it is good to go with this price. I think they will keep this price for some time.

p/s: it will reduce to AUD344 when check out.

    this is wat i paid:

also, if you dont want to wait for any longer, why dont u just get a grey import from Kogan or others?

the price on amazon now is the same, so i prefer Amazon rather than those grey imports. It is $AUD 368 on Kogan include shipping but they are sold out. You are lucky to catch that one with only $289.

      Hi 5

I'm enjoying mine right now as well.

EDIT: Also OP, if you click through to the final confirmation page, the price will drop below 300 EUR (not sure of exact amount, but they will deduct taxes and add shipping ==> net deduction of around 20 euros)

You can also get HD598s for $183 delivered ($222+ship at DWI, $239+ship at Kogan).

    • Definitely nice! been waiting for these to drop for a while now.. But how did u get $183?

      • +1

Add them to cart and head to checkout, taxes will decrease.

amazon.fr is a great site for mid-range sennheisers like these =)

Waiting for it to go to $290 again!

  • If my 598's weren't such a recent acquisition I'd consider this. I've seen them dip below 300 also, but this certainly seems a good price.

    • How are the 598's? Any complaints so far?

  • I understand why you've posted this Amazon.fr deal here and thanks for the effort. But I agree with easternculture that it is probably easiest to go with Kogan if there are any issues/faults that come up.

And you cheeky sods that got it for approximately $289 from Amazon.fr - I am jealous.

  • hi guys, this is the first time i try to buy from Amazon France, and I am not good at French. So there is something about shipping that bothers me, one option is Amazon global priority (10-14 days) and one is Amazon Global Lightning (3-5 days)( i use google translate), what is the difference between those, the item is free shipping as i reckoned ? And should i apply for one month trial of Amazon prime for faster delivery ?

    • I think Amazon prime would only give fast delivery to people in France or Europe… international deliveries are normally the slow 10-14 days..

      • these are the options they provide, do they charge for the faster option ? (this item is marked with amazon premium icon ?)

        • The current price is most likely with the 10-14 days.

If you select 3-5 days, it will most likely increase the price at the final page (where you click 'purchase'). If it doesn't, then by all means go with this faster option.

        • after selecting shipping methods, it requires to fill in the credit card information ? I wonder whether they would charge me instantly ? Can you check it for me that the faster option will be free or not ?

        • They don't. You have one more screen before you confirm purchase.

        • thanks, i just did and it turn out to be AUD344 shipped with Global Priority.

  • Tiencanh,

This definitely isnt Amazon.fr's cheapest price: http://fr.camelcamelcamel.com/Sennheiser-HD650-casque-ouvert…

If you can't wait, perhaps look around for a cheap deal on the HD600s? Experts have commented that they sound (practically) the same as the 650s, and go for a cheaper price. Amazon.fr has them for 234 EUR at the moment ($286.50) - there are probably other deals about too.

    • i just want to check the shipping options first, i am confused. do not really plan to buy any at the moment.

  • The deal sounds good….eGlobalDigital (where mine were purchased) are doing them for AU$384.00 delivered and offer 24-month warranty on them locally so for another $40, I'd go the local option.

    See the link below:
    http://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/sennheiser-hd650-on-…

They do Express International Shipping (3-5 days) for $39, Insured Economy Express Shipping (3-5 days) for $49.50 and Priority Express Shipping (2-3 days) for $59.00.

That said, if these cans were on sale for $289, I'd buy them from Amazon.fr in a heartbeat. That's almost a 100 bucks cheaper - worth being put in the doghouse for.

    • i thought you have to send item back to Hongkong for warranty if anything happens. I think with amazon, the warranty is international accepted.

      • Not entirely sure about sending items back to HK since it's an AU website (sorry, I haven't had time to look into it) but this was just a presumption on my part since they were bout off that website. Will look into it and post here to let you know what I find.

        cheers,
        rusty
