  • Just what I was after.
    Cheers.

  • Nice price, excellent read speed, but there may not be much difference to SanDisks write speed, its around 20MB/s but cant find a reliable source on the speed.

    • I found this online, does it seem right?

      Samsung 32GB 48 MB/s UHS-1 Grade 0 MicroSDHC:

      Sequential Read : 19.801 MB/s
      Sequential Write : 16.689 MB/s
      Random Read 512KB : 19.633 MB/s
      Random Write 512KB : 14.452 MB/s

Sandisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 Micro SD:

      Sequential Read : 19.91 MB/s
      Sequential Write : 13.07 MB/s

      • No, the SanDisk is too slow, it reads 30MB/s. But good to see the comparison.

        • But it reads "up to" 30mb/s just as the Samsung reads "up to" 48mb/s?

        • They both look comparable in the tests.

      • Sandisk have an Extreme and Extreme Pro I think?

One is silver and the other is gold.

      • Hi,

I think you copied above from Amazon feedback.

That info is for Class 6. NOT class 10.

Additionally, your info is lack of the "updated info from user" at later time.

"Real nice figures for class 6 card:

        CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 x64 (C) 2007-2010 hiyohiyo:

        Sequential Read : 19.801 MB/s
        Sequential Write : 16.689 MB/s
        Random Read 512KB : 19.633 MB/s
        Random Write 512KB : 14.452 MB/s

better and cheaper than Sandisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 Micro SD Card:

        Sequential Read : 19.91 MB/s
        Sequential Write : 13.07 MB/s

Update - USB3.0 results (I bought Kingston Technology USB 3.0 Multi Card Reader, Asus P8P67 Deluxe):

        Sequential Read : 89.101 MB/s
        Sequential Write : 21.525 MB/s"

PLUS, this feedback is also for Class 6.

The people benching this card aren't using readers that support UHS-I Speed Class. I have tried this in the Icybox IB-865 which does, and it reads at over 70MB/s and writes at over 20MB/s. If you put it in a device which doesn't support the standard then it will fall back to a slower speed.

Class 6 is running that fast over any expectation. How about Class 10? So excited till get mine arrives

        Cheers,

        • Thanks for the confirmation. Thought it was a bit irrelevant putting the USB3.0 stats up as he didn't test the Sandisk as well.

  • Pretty good reviews on Amazon. Got one. Thanks.
