Streets Paddle Pop is celebrating its 60th birthday and the return of the much-loved classic Vanilla flavour. To mark the occasion, Streets is creating a one-of-a-kind Paddle Pop stick installation gallery in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
The Streets Paddle Pop-up Gallery will be open to Sydneysiders for one day only - on Thursday March 28th from 8am until 8pm at Westfield, Pitt Street (just outside the Zara store). Marking the 60 year anniversary of Australian’s favourite icy treat, the Paddle Pop-up Gallery will house 60 paper portraits of Australia’s famous faces, each mounted on a Paddle Pop stick. Kids and adults alike will be thrilled to see the portraits of Julia Gillard, Dame Edna Everage and Shane Warne adorn the gallery walls, while they experience their first taste (as a kid or an adult) of Vanilla Paddle Pop.
The famous Paddle Pop Lion will of course have his portrait up in the gallery and will also be on hand throughout the day to take pictures with fans. Following their visit to the Streets Paddle Pop-up Gallery, fans will be able to visit the Paddle Pop Facebook page and tag themselves in their picture with the Paddle Pop Lion.
