Brisbane CBD has limited stocks.
limited stock usually means none
Just because 1 or 2 still show as on the store's inventory (DS def of limited stock) - more than likely there is no stock. Every time I have contacted stores with limited stock, it was either a faulty unit, stolen or otherwise missing, or a data entry error.
I lodged a complaint about a store which had so much phantom stock. DS head office investigated & found very shoddy stocktaking & poor management. Store has closed.
The same thing happened during there recent Blu-ray clearance sale. Found a few stores listing stock they do not have, either In stock or Low Stock
Stock in mt gambier and traralgon Vic. Try your luck by calling them
Another pointless DS post. OP next time list the stores with stock left so not to waste everyone's time. Better still if no stock don't post at all.
These deals are like those office works posts low price but no stock anywhere lol
A few places show up with stock in NSW
Armidale
Bega
Broken Hill
Coffs Harbour
Mildura
Muswellbrook
Albury (Large)(low stock)
Castle Hill Towers
Liverpool (low stock)
Nowra (low stock)
Port Macquarie (low stock)
Canberra Centre (Large)(Low Stock)If woolies want to close dick smith they should just do it already. at least online purchases from a warehouse will list stock numbers and no teenagers grabbing all the bargains before they hit the floor.
Woolies have sold DSE already.
None in inner Melbourne, well except as usual "low stock in Prahan" which means there's none, as the stock always mysteriously goes missing.
No stock on the Central coast NSW
DSE = COTD + reputable web server
Navman not worth $29.
the gps function is the main reason i got a cheap android phone as per advice on ozbargain previously.
I use our android phone with Sygic maps all the time now. The dedicated gps unit stays packed away.
These gps units have been listed on the dse site for quite a while now… virtually no stock to make it worthwhile listing as a bargain.
I've started ignoring Dick Smith bargains. Rarely any stock in my area :(
last similar dse deal on gps showed 9 in stock and when I ordered. received a call next day to say they all out.
gonna ignore all so called low stock deal from dse from now onIf I had of been able to score this Meccano Super Construction set for $30 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/94925 via another DSE lowstock sale, it would have been more likely I build a working replica of this Navman EZY GPS from said Meccano set, than attain this GPS, or any other DSE item on a Lowstock sale.
WOW! Great price. I have one of these. Paid $99 a year ago. Good little unit.
The latest Navman Map is nearly 9 months old.
How does this compare to the Navman C40 (3.5") from 2010?
the same as the $1 gps that was advertised last week on dicksmith. they are just baiting people. dick smith were never going to sell any gps for $1 so they shouldnt advertise these misleading deals. its annoying and makes me hate them
No stock in Brisbane or Sydney. Just another Dick Smith troll…
