I signed up to this amaysim a few months ago, best thing I have ever done.

Both the product and the customer support is first class.

    • To call up and get an aussie call center is awesome too, though the person I rang through to today had a pommy accent. My personal experience at least the one and only time i've called their customer service was really good. I've been back and forth from telstra, and telstra just isn't worth the premium you pay(or at least in my instance)

Amaysim seems to have occasional data slowness or outages, but for the most part pretty decent service.

I think they also need to start offering deals to existing customers. Price is what matters these days, a customer can easily switch to another provider because of a cheaper price (same Optus network compared).

  • Anybody else on Amaysim 'As You Go' notice their call & data usage doesn't seem to be updating any more? ie. looks like no activity made on account? I don't dare say anything… It's like that episode of Friends where they got free porn and didn't dare change channels or turn the TV off…

    • I noticed that as well, but it does come off your account. It takes a couple of days to come out.

      • My usage for the past 4 months is playing blankety-blanks!

        • They probably had a system set up all perfect and then realised they were subscribing to Optus who could and probably did change things as they saw fit. Doesn't really matter to me but I'm sure lots of people NEED a bill to cross reference where what money went where. Seems like a bit of a let down but the price is unmatchable and if it really is important they could always just get unlimited.

  • I agree cost has to come down to match competition
    Kogan getting bad name
when a year comes out at $250 unlimited and 6 gb probably that will get the (long term) nod

  • When their internet drops out for anywhere up to four hours Id stay clear
