  • can't believe there's no 'bastard' option ?!?!?!?!???!!

  • +1

    I'm confused by your layout…

    • +1

      1st is price

2nd has steam as in pc, mac and linux

3rd has steam as in pc & mac & linux

      4th has No's…

Just working out which is the best layout for future deals? :S

      • I stared at this post for like 10 mins before i realized what you were doing….table 1 is the only one that makes any sense really.

perhaps the best option is just putting each platform as a column then in that cell putting "steam + DRM free" or just one or the other or no

        • Appreciate the effort NGPriest, though Apoptygma seems to have the right idea.

        • The problem is that Steam doesn't support some platforms, Desura doesn't support some platform and DRM-Free doesn't support all platforms…

    • Confusing is an understatement!

      No 'yes' in steam

      So you mean maybe? Lol

Edit: now I get it you want us to choose the layout.. Fair enough

      • I just got tired of typing No…
        I wished i could put a red cross, but i can't…
And i can't put green ticks?
So just words i think? :S

  • +1

    I like table 3.

    • Too many No's…
Kinda hard to read black text…
      Maybe that's me when i'm sleep deprived…

      I'm thinking about 1 or 2…

    • Table 3 here.

  • +1

I would prefer more description & price in the title :)

Is it a mighty bundle of bed-sheets? Or cables? Or computer games?

    • The price changes all the time…
And description are there? And links to the Steam and Desura store?
And i'm sure i categorised it as gaming? :S

      • I'm not a gamer (I had to look up what Steam was…) Many people won't know that the bundle is for computer games.

It should be clear from the title that its a bundle of computer games :)

When you see the new deals on the right hand side before they hit the main page, the categories aren't shown.

Good point about the price changing - you're right, you probably cant put that in the title as it varies.

  • For consistency, clarity and simplicity a variation of Table 1 showing the platforms supported for Desura in the same way you have Steam. Hyperlinks within the table and price in a right column. Thanks

    • Not sure if the titles are DRM free…
Since Desura said some stuff won't run, but the main site says it does?
So not sure if it's like, DRM free on platforms not supported by Desura?

  • I think the very first table (table 0?) with the addition of the windows, mac and Linux columns (with these 3 columns formatted like table 1 & 2). Like this:

Game Steam Desura Windows Mac Linux RRP
Waveform Steam Desura Yes Yes Yes $6.99
    Zafehouse: Diaries Desura Yes $9.99
  • +2

So, plans for the next deal thingy…

Name, Steam Link, Steam Platforms, Desura Link, Desura Platforms, Windows DRM Free, Mac DRM Free, Linux DRM Free, RRP?

Name Steam Link Steam Platforms Desura Link Desura Platforms Windows DRM Free Mac DRM Free Linux DRM Free RRP
    Quack Link PC/Mac/Linux Link PC/Mac/Linux Yes/No Yes/No Yes/No $x.xx
    • Looks good and very comprehensive. Thanks for your effort!

      • +1

        Looks too long…
Going to stick with the 1st pricing table and the 1st table…
        Looks kinda neater…
        What do you think? :S

    • you could combine the DRM Free columns into one:

      DRM Free
      PC/Mac/Linux/No

      • So what i did for Table 1 for Steam? :S

        • yep, exactly. as machalel has done below.

    • +2

how about if you combined the Steam link & platforms text (so the platform text is also the link), and the same with Desura link & platforms? Also with the DRM free links?

Name Steam Desura DRM Free RRP
      Quack PC PC/MAC PC/MAC/Linux $x.xx
      • I agree. Don't need separate columns for links and can potentially combine DRM in some way caprimulgas suggested. One table is better than two.

        • Well, 1 table tells you how much $ you're saving…
The other table tells you which platforms the games support? :S

      • DRM Free = Piracy? :S
Since err, you're asked to pay for the games? :S

Well, vote here as well, should i be posting the DRM Free link? :S

Next thingy is that there is only 1 link for the games, not 1 per platform…

    • This probably is the most informative format so far…

      • Yep, but it takes so much typing and formatting and etc…

I think i can make it easier by typing it in Excel, exporting it as a csv and seperating it with a | ?

  • I prefer the first layout it's less cluttered and still contains what I would consider the essential information (links to products and available stores)

    • I really should rename the tables…
