This is also why the Q's been so cheap. Q and K-01 are both discontinued.
edit: I just remembered. Last time I went into Teds I talked to the rep. He said the store sold 2 of these, over the one year period the K-01 was being produced. And Teds is the only store in the Adelaide CBD which sells Pentax. So.. yeah. That's why they're trying to get rid of all of them.
Mind you the camera that replaces the Q is practically the same, so is it really discontinued? Teds may not be carrying it, but its out there

Overseas also sees a $299 USD price (less in AUD after conversion), but expect to pay more for delivery.
This is a much better investment than the Q if you want image quality. Lucky I'm overloaded with camera gear at the moment and don't have Pentax gear
