    What is kale? Kale is a type of cabbage that grows loose leaves. The leaves are ruffled and green. Kale is often eaten cooked, but can also be eaten raw. Kale is packed with calcium, beta carotene, magnesium and other great vitamins and minerals. Kale is a healthy vegetable that should be eaten at least once a day.

        Travelling in the Netherlands, I asked where I could find a restaurant to try real Dutch food. Common response - "No one would pay to eat that!". I love the Dutch - so cheap.
