OK works. Thanks
now I hope they dont break coz no warranty
i saw these at jb-hi-fi broadway for $199 not long ago if that helps anyone
Jb should be able to hold the $199 price, these are good speakers, would have bought some in the past, but use a home theater setup for the pc.
worst pc speakers that i've bought. will be heading back to creative or logitech for next desktop speakers. wires not strong enough, and not a strong sound (mid range is particularly awful). sound better with games than music (although I use the dynaudios for music generally)
omgosh say so earlier.
i just buying them coz they suit my new white TV cabinet.
I got some Swan speakers for musics.
i bought these 6 or 7 years ago and am loving them since. Except that night when a roach crawled into the transparent subwoofer and couldn't find its way out! Imagine cranking the music up and watching a roach dance to the bass inside a transparent bowl!
My Blueberry iMac had these back in the day.
Very nice 2.1 pc speakers. Sound is clear and looks nice. I paid $187 at Greensborough JB Hifi few weeks ago! Looks different comparing to others! Dont think is worth buying from overseas at that price!
doh! oh well
Cool retro design. Is it glass or plastic?
I take it they have an integrated amp, suitable for connecting to an MP3 player or DAB radio.
Is it powerful enough for a small lounge room?
I have the standard 5.1 setup for the home theater kit, but its way overkill for music. Unless I'm in a real Wagner or heavy metal mood.
Think it's plastic. Be fine for small lounge room but looks very nice if you setup a small form factor pc connect to your tv and pc via audio splitter. Looks very elegant and does not take too much space with cables every where like the 5.1 setup.
It is plastic. I bought it many years ago. Looks very special; like a decoration. The sound is good. the shop played a movie from a pc. The sound was so clear and loud that i bought it.
Just bought a system at JB Highpoint for $180.
damn… OzBargain drives my impulsive buying behavior lol
$18 cheaper but no warranty :(
lol gonna buy these and try sell the Sonys I bought yesterday …
