The specs may not be very impressive. However, I have a 7 year old fujitsu laptop that's still going strong.

  You mean assembled in Japan. All the parts are OEM, they are made in China, Taiwan, USA etc.

    They make parts in the USA? :O Think I'd prefer that Chinese workmanship to be honest. (plus I hear they work for peanuts over there = cheap bits FTW!).
