First time poster!
Ive been looking at this washing machine for a bit. Seems to be the best price around. I done a quick comparison with all the usual appliance stores:
$737 @ the good guys
$639 @ appliances online
$632 @ price pirate

I'd rather get a Samsung 1752wpc, cheaper, better spec, better review.
Personally, I'd take the lg. Skinnier in depth then the Samsung, made in Korea by lg themselves (as opposed to china by Daewoo like the Samsung) and the lg uses the direct drive motor -would need to go for the next model up in the Samsung range to get the same. Plus lg's customer service dept is miles ahead! (my experience only)
LG make very good front load washing machines, I like their TVs too. Everything else not so certain.
Their solar panels are awesome… nice looking black frames, great power output with positive tolerance, excellent Australian based warranty, and extremely reliable (zero faults after supplying/installing many millions of dollars of them).
Yep, we've never had an issue with our front loading washer/dryer (7 yrs old), fridge (7 yrs old) and TV (3 yrs old). My mum's front loader washer/dryer only lasted 5 years though - but it was worked pretty hard.
Hopefully they are still good, as they are one of the better priced brands.
Don't know if they all do it, but you may want to mention in the OP that they take away the old appliance for free too - that is something I would consider a great extra feature and worth something. I don't want the hassle of disposing of a dead appliance - especially one that heavy and bulky.
Front loader - rofl. Enjoy your crusty hard towels.
We have this machine. It's very good and that's an excellent price.
welcome to ozbargain, mate!
