Why would anyone do this! Should be able to downvote because of this crime against humanity.
Try being busty and wearing button up shirts and there is your answer. The gaps in between the buttons tend to gape open, not a very professional look. Sigh, I always get the 'Girls are weird' comment from my partner, but in truth it is just that most men are so unaware of what it takes to be a female.
