So no horse included
ever tried buying a horse? they're bl00dy expensive, why would we put it in food.
so are cows…
Horses for products are normally horses that failed at racing and then failed at jump racing. These are cheap, horse you buy for a farm is a totally different horse.
as per news article today, australia knackery does export meat to europe for human consumption. some eu eat horse and some dont, and the problem was where they dont eat it is where it was found but as far as i last heard australia does not import any of those products and woolworths tested its products and has not found horse. i rang purina they say they dont use horse in any of their products but it is used for dog food in australia.
further to what nephilim said, thoroughbreds are highly undesirable as riding horses and also most the expense of riding horses is the breaking in. a really great beginners level horse can sell for alot. race horses (thoroughbreds) are bred in large quantities and are disposable to the race industry.

I had the Vegetarian Lasagne yesterday - really nice. And then the Macaroni Cheese today - quite bland and not very creamy/cheesy.
