Get a Free 7 Day Pass for Fitness First

62

This offer is usually only one or a couple of days for free. 7 days isnt too bad.

You need to give them your spamming details as usual and I suspect you need to be prepared to be contacted, this being fitness first.

most gyms now days would give a week pass if youre new member and ask nicely, wouldnt consider this bargain, esp the rep FF has with giving your details out.

    • the last fitness first post was a 1 day trial, this is 7 so not complaining. i will just give them fake email and mobile number :)

7 really is pretty decent by any measure.

Don't give them any real info unless you want to be spammed, especially on your mobile. The sales reps there are like vultures. It's not worth it for 7 days free gym.

    • ^This x1000

Never give them your mobile number.

  • Fitness First?… Are they still around?? ;)

Anytime Fitness have one week trials. Sometimes by talking to a staff member you may be able to extend that to two weeks (depending totally on the specific franchise of course). With that being said, I'd never go to FF.

I used to work in the Fitness Industry (Local Govt - non profit) and we got our hands on a Fitness First sales training video. The tactics these guys use to keep you on board are amusing to say the least. They are even encouraged to ring your number you provide while you are there to verify your details are correct. If you wish to exit from the direct debit agreement, the best thing to write them a cancellation letter, drop it at reception (dont speak to the used car sales men - sorry membership consultants) and then have your bank block future transactions.

"Finance First" are the worst, if you are seriously looking at a gym look at your local govt facilities, all profits are fed back into the facility, paying for quality staff and updating equipment.

  • I have used a free 2 week pass before and FF never called to harass me to join up with them after the 2 weeks was up. As compared to Good Life where I paid the $14 for 14 days, they rang me about 2-3 times to join up. I guess it depends on which FF you use the free pass with on whether they will call you.
