Picked up the above modem router for 159 today at highpoint vic. Guy at counter said dse are clearing out all dlink products. I found that this and many other models of dlink have a 50 cashback promo going. There were also the ac1700 but were routers only.Cheapest i could find was msy at 125 after cashback
Dse do not have these clearance stock on there website so i will try and upload a pic of the receipt to pricematch
There were 2 left for $169 plus 50 redemption
BTW there not with all the other modem routers there in line with cash register in middle of store. i stumbled across them by accident

i got wndr 4500 netgear router for $170.05…..plus $50 cashback via netgear promotion this month so ($120.05) from officeworks…msy has em for $179 (via static ice)…..top piece of machinery….makes a world of difference with reception and now my playbook works like a dream where as before kept having dropouts……have up to 8 gadgets connected at once and still works well

the netgear 4500 is only a router i guess..
but the dlink one is modem/router..
unfortunately this one proved to be a nightmare for me to setup… n then 1 hr with tech support rep. and finally returned the product n got refund.. security setup is a flaw.. it shows open network even after setting up WPA2-PSK security … could not get it working at all… internet did not work at all…
D link …bad experience 2nd time… thats why selling it cheap for n750 series as compared to other brands such as Netgear, Netcomm , Belkin..
