Tiger launching a new route at 9pm tonight, Jetstar will match it at $53.95
This route can be price beat with Jetstar. 10% because Tiger's flight departs SYD at 6.45am and Jetstar leaves at 6am. No credit card fee also via this way.

How can I get Jetstar to match the fare without incuring a booking fee? I would assume I'd have to call Jetstar to price match then if make a phone booking, a fee will be charged.

through the phone. they will ask you what airline and what flight and check times. as long as a comparable flight (time +/-1hr and on the same route) is available from jetstar, then they will beat. For Cairns; no. For the Great Barrier reef if you have any interest in diving then hell yes. Surrounding Tablelands area is pretty for a couple of days driving, as is a couple of days up in Port Douglas, doing Cape Tribulation :)
