Masters - Bosch 10.8v Professional Kit 3 Piece $300 Was $399 Includes Impact Driver, Drill & Saw

90

Cordless Drill Driver (GSR 10.8-2-Li)
Cordless Impact Driver (GDR 10.8-Li)
Cordless Sabre Saw (GSA 10.8 V-Li)
3 x 10.8V Li-lon batteries
1 x AL 1130 CV charger
1 x tool bag

Not sure if it expires, but i picked one up today at Gregory Hills NSW for some home DIY, price looks like it is statewide.

Gregory Hills reported 10 in stock when I called this morning.

Looked like there was only 2 on display though.

Reviews seem to be good for being so compact.

It is also the blue professional version so it comes with 3 years warranty on the skins through Bosch, just need to register online.

Just a note, when I opened up mine today it looked like it had been tampered with, but the sticker was sealed and it also had that tough plastic packing tape still intact. The tools seem to be working fine when tested with the batteries, tools didnt look used though, just worried me a bit.

If anyone does purchase one, can you report on how it was packed.

Mine came like this:

Battery in drill
Impact driver not wrapped in plastic
Yellow 3 year warranty sticker appeared to be used
No lboxx plastic for the impact driver
Manuals were folded
It just looked like someone had been through it and put it back and sealed it up for resale.

Sydneytools has a similiar package with the impact driver, drill, lboxx case and sorting case for $399

Note: Cordless Drill Driver (GSR 10.8-2-Li) does not have a hammer action, so it won’t drill into masonry/brick/concrete well. You need the Bosch GSB 10.8-2 LI Combi Hammer Drill.

I have these and they are great, super light units, but you can run out of torque on very big jobs. If i need lots of runtime or heaps of torque i use an 18V drill.

    • Agree. I also use these and highly recommend. Also if I am drilling in to masonry/brick/concrete I get out my 240v Bosch Blue hammer drill. Also use 18v on big stuff but these seem to handle 80-90% of what I throw at it and they are so small and light.

Professional quality, with 3 tools and 3 batteries this is a great deal. Plus warranty and you can get spares or compatible extras if required.

      • They are great tools, only last week i was hanging over a balcony in 100kph winds driving 60mm long self drilling metal screws with one hand. The other hand was holding the sheet metal signage that was flying off with the wind. There is no way i could have secured the sign one handed with my big heavy 18V Dewalt in the other.

I have no problem using these tools on delicate jobs that i would never touch with the dewalt. I would also say that they have the power for 90% of jobs, but are not much heavier than a cordless screwdriver.

        • That signage scenario you mention sounds like it would have been high risk to anyone nearby at ground level.

I just purchased and it looks exactly as you described. One battery in drill, one out of packaging and one in a box. No spot in the plastic for the impact driver means it had moved about. Oh well, it seems good value as single tools retail for around $240. The price tag says it's an everyday price.

    • Hmm my sabre saw appears to be greasy all over too. I guess from the lubricant where the blades go in?

  • I picked up a similar set, but instead of the saw it had the osc. multitool and only 2 batteries for $140. fully wrapped in original packaging. There was 2 sets in the tool clearance pile at bunnings in rothwell, brisbane. not sure if any other stores are clearing them.

    • Was this just the multitool or did it come with drils as well?
