Saw the Columbia Hellfire down jacket deal and checked out the site a bit more.

Seems like they're having an online only sale which has some decent deals. Icebreaker Oasis BF200 crewe top for $49.95 - this is cheaper then anywhere I've been looking (retails @ $119). Icebreaker beanies from $9 (down from $30), lots of other decent stuff. Got myself a few tops and bottoms for my upcoming trip to Europe.

Unfortunately their free shipping offer has ended and shipping is $12.50 for Australian Metro FREE Shipping on order >$50 until Feb 4th. I did, however, managed to get their Collingwood outlet store to price match the online prices and picked up for free from there. I rang Moorabbin and they wouldn't budge on the pricing. Seems like the staff had no clue about the sale. Best to bring in your phone and show them the item and the price and see if they'll match it.

  Love icebreaker! Mum used to work there and got a whole bunch of clothes for gold coins from staff sales! Great quality stuff!

  Surprisingly (for Mountain Designs) not a bad deal, big discounts on decent Icebreaker gear. Comparable to prices overseas, shipping is a pain unless you plan to buy multiple items.

    yeah I checked ebay and amazon and this beats both. Sierra Trading Post is roughly the same price but thats excluding international shipping.

  I ordered a jacket on Friday and had the money taken from my credit card but no email to confirm as yet…anyone else found this?

    I also got this until they actually sent the items. So I ordered the jacket here thinking it was navy http://www.mountaindesigns.com/store/categories/products/WM5… it is actually a fluoro blue, yuk. They didn't have any pictures of it their site either, misleading.

      just a warning, I tried to take it back to the store for a refund. They kicked up a big fuss about it and tried to refuse, tried to give me a credit instead (despite me pointing out on the website it was the wrong colour and that I had kept a more expensive jacket). Then they made me see the store manager, the whole time I was being treated like I was doing something wrong, he gave me a refund but made a big deal out of it saying he was only doing it to keep me happy and they weren't meant to give refunds because the online store is a different company (??). What rubbish. I am going to make a point never to buy anything from them again.
