HOLIDAY

Just grabbed myself the Silver Spoon book of Pasta for 12.95 delivered (hardcover). The Silver Spoon series is the "bible" of Italian Cooking. Perfect with the Marcato Atlas Pasta maker deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/90964 I posted recently.

I did come across a few copies of the Silver Spoon Pasta book at Allbooksforless in Melbourne CBD recently (around the same price). Doesn't seem to be online, though, and no free delivery there at the moment.

Code "HOLIDAY" is for the free shipping, and it's automatically applied when you put in an Australian address (please check that it is applied — otherwise it's additional $6.50 for postage).

Wrapp is an iOS app, login with your facebook account and you can give vouchers to your facebook friends for free. Haven't tried it, though — not a fan of FB-linked promotions.

    Just found out they are not shipping silver spoon. They shouldn't have taken my order if they didn't have the stock.

      Sorry to hear that… how did you find out? I just checked my order online and it still says "In Process".

      Anyway, was out last weekend and I did see the book again at Allbooks4less. It's priced at $10 (in Harbourfront Docklands VIC). Not sure if it was $15 or $10 at their store in the CBD though. Shoot me a message if you want it and I can pick a copy up for you next time I'm there. Not too sure about shipping though, maybe less than 10 by Auspost? It is hardbound, but not too heavy.
