Free Michael Clarke Flag @ BP

50

As Michael Clarke was named man of the series, BP are offering it's members a free flag!

I got an e-mail about it as I'm a current member, but the website suggests new members can take part. I was given a unique coupon code in the e-mail but I'm not sure if they'll be checking.

Will be picking mine up this evening!

*Offer valid until January 31st January 2013 or while stocks last. One flag per customer. Only person on the email can redeem the flag. Voucher must be relinquished upon redemption. Electronic vouchers accepted.

Due to a quality issue, the limited edition
Michael Clarke Flags are no longer available
    to collect from BP stores.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused,
especially to those customers who have
already collected a flag from their local BP store.

We value your continued support and look
forward to bringing you special offers in 2013.

    • I wrote them an email. Let's see what happens.

      • OK: Here's the text of my email to BP. Yes it's a piss-take.

        Hi there Mr BP,

I am writing in regards to your recent Michael Clarke flag promotion.

I am shocked and amazed that you have cancelled the promotion as I was really looking forward to collecting my free flag on Monday. I was even going to buy a Freezie if the machine was working, which it never is.

I was really wondering how I could wrap my hands around one of these flags, being a huge fan of both cricket and petroleum products in equal measure.

Furthermore, I was wondering if you could tell me any more about the quality issues so I could write a story about it for our local newspaper.

I look forward to your reply and wish you a Merry Christmas.

I have about 100 flags that were bound for the bp bin but i earned them as I had to deal with a lot of disappointed customers when they saw the flag :-)
