keep in mind that this lap top have 10 more GB of ram and full HD display and back lid keyboard even though its not worth $740

Look at MSY. You should be able to get an ASUS i7 3rd Gen (R500A) for about $700…

Yes, as per above comments, crap deal on a refurbished notebook.
The N53SV were the models being sold on catchoftheday about 8 months ago for a similar price.
They do have a full HD screen, which the shoppingexpress one does not as well as 4 RAM slots.
While you could throw a SSD in this rather cheaply and have great performance, the limiting factor imo is the graphics card which is a little old. In addition, the keyboards on these are horrible. Damn good speakers tho…Forum point taken, will ask for help in my search for exactly what I want:) Was taken in by the $1000 off and did wonder why Mwave didn't post themselves!! In hindsight,if it wasn't a good deal for me it obviously wasn't a good deal for you guys..

Bought an N53SV with same specs except 6GB RAM and 640GB HDD in March 2011 for $799. This model is getting really old
There was a 3rd gen i7 posted yesterday for $699. This is a 2nd generation i7 refurb for $740.
I'm not so sure this is a good deal.
