    From a medical perspective, no one should take these without advice from their doctor.

    When you're sick, cleaning out the bowels helps get rid of the stuff. You don't want to stop it or you're slowing down the recovery process. Throwing up is a different thing. If you're constantly throwing up then you should use meds to stop that.
