While obviously a budget monitor it still manages to provide an inbuilt kickstand and VESA mounting. It's worth mentioning that the quoted shipping time for this one is about a month instead of the usual 2 weeks and still worth the wait in my opinion.

        I suppose the z fold can only provide so many watts of power to the display though….I have another lg 16 inch display that doesn't work like that. The panel just power cycles. I wonder how I would find out about compatibility/power draw

          Seems the Z Fold 6 has issues when Googling. Is that what you have? You could try running a second cable from a charger to the monitor.

    People in the previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/889870 have mentioned that they have not seen the screen delivered after 2 months. I was actually very looking forward to a return of this deal but now I'm kinda in 2 minds. Could be the previous deal was during lunar new year?

      Nothing to do with lunar New year. The seller doesn't know how to communicate. I still don't know for sure where this item is. AE tracker says it is in local country for 2 days now but according to Australia Post the label was ordered on 24 January and it has not arrived in Australia. No man's land. I suspect it went by Boat to Aus as a bulk shipment then it may be split up to individual buyers.

      If your phone supports video out via USB-C you can connect the monitor straight up. Otherwise you'd need something like a Chromecast to stream to it.

    thanks, cheap as chips. these are so much easier to manoeveur even for a home office set up compared to a full size usbc monitor that you need to VESA mount at 1/6 of price. as a 3rd/4th monitor for a clock/Teams it's perfect

        Screen. Sorry. I am using a Lenovo Yoga tablet as a 2nd screen at the moment and need this monitor badly so that I can give my Yoga tablet to my partner. Imagine waiting for such a long time and not knowing if it is arriving and having to tell the partner to be patient while they are desperate to have a tablet.

    Mine arrived recently. Yes shipping took over a month. Speaker is too soft. It is cheap do i dont mind. There is 1 lever to adjust the sound and brightness. I connect to my phone without additional power. It works but cannot use it at 100% full brightness. Only 96%.
