First-time poster, long time lurker.

Was in the market for a new Android tablet on relative budget, contemplating the Tab S9 FE and stumbled across this deal which seems pretty good from what I can tell (ATL?).

The Tab S9+ is the mid-sized tablet in the Tab S9 family that sits in between the smaller S9 and larger Tab S9 Ultra and while it's been superseded by the incremental S10+ this is still half the current price of the S10+ being offered through Samsung website/app @ $1,549.

And with the 120Hz 2x AMOLED panel, IP68 rating and superior processing chops over the Tab FE lineup this seemed a no-brainer for me. Beige not ideal, but I'll slap a case on it and call it a day. S Pen included. More than 10 available at time of posting.

Some other decent deals on The Good Guys eBay site:

NOTE: delivery costs are either $5 or $18, depending on the delivery postcode.

  • Good one but doesn't stand against Samsung's monthly "secret sale" price error scheme. You can pickup S10+ for under 500.

  • iPad Air faster ?

This is more versatile but less polished imo. Depends on your use case.

  • Nice deals. I like the s8 ultra deal… Amazing value for that amoled slate

S9 FE Plus is $600 in store if you’re nice to them.

  • I just got a couple of S10 Ultras for my family. yeah it was $300 more which isn't unsubstantial but for that we got:
a 2.2 inches larger screen size
Comes with 11200 vs 10090 mAh battery
27% better performance in AnTuTu Benchmark (2038K versus 1600K)
Compatible with the latest Wi-Fi 7 wireless networks
Delivers 10% higher peak brightness (609 against 556 nits)
Thinner bezels – 6.6% more screen real estate
A genuine book Cover Keyboard valued at $399 thrown in.

    Just food for thought..

    • So just wait it out for the s10 tablets?

      • If you can I guess that's a decent strategy. I imagine this time next year the awesome S10 Ultra will be in a somewhat similar position, history shows us.

    • At 14.6"" wouldnt a light weight laptop feel more comfortable? You would also get a full blown OS(mac or win) and a hard keyboard thats more comfy to use.

      • Different OS. Android is nice on tablet where as Windows isn't quiet the same. Your point still stands though as 14.6" is a very large table and hard to hold. With keyboard works with Samsung Dex as a notebook.

        • I just don't find it hard to hold. I might have the poetic turtleskin cover to thank. Very grippy. You guys aren't wrong, it's big. But now that I'm accustomed to it I couldn't go smaller again.

          • @seamonkey: More "one handed" I should have noted e.g. in bed reading or the likes.

      • I hear you and you aren't wrong but there is something about this. Family are loving it. I don't even bother with the keyboard. I use a Poetic Turtleskin cover that's super rubbery and has a spot for the S pen to snap and charge on the back.

I just love that it feels like the largest android experience ever so it's awesome to just watch movies from the network and not even put them on the device. Love the ulnto 1.5TB SD card option. It's messing with my head because we had S22 Ultras and just updated in launch to S25 Ultras. I don't make a lot of calls so I'm barely even picking up the S25 Ultra anymore. Particularly because you can run calls and messages through it also, so it can be used as a gigantic phone. The hands on spen art options are great, epubs. Really glad we didn't travel the iPad Pro route as we were considering that. YouTube reviewers seem to rate the S10 Ultra.

        • I agree a bigger screen is better, but i went the other way - tablet to laptop. I was used to using an 10" ipad when sitting on the bed or lying down. Now i got used to using a 16" MBP and dont want to go down to 10" screen. (its a bit heavier and an MB air or win equivalent is a better suited IMO) The advantage i find with the laptop is that the screen is held in place for me by the laptops base, no matter if I am sitting, lying on my tummy or on my side. All I have to do is scroll using the touchpad. And whenever I want to type something, the keyboard is much handier than the tablet's cover keyboard. The speakers are a blast too. Now I dont feel like using a tablet at all. The only time i pick up the tablet is when I am reading a book.

    • Do you have a link?
I am keen on the S10 Ultra as well.

      • Just was via Samsung website. Not on offer any more but I have no doubt it'll be back soon as they seem to recycle various deals

  • The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus 12.4 WiFi 128GB - Silver is also there for $446.00 which is still a decent price. I grabbed last Sep and sold out quickly. Decent tablets,
Caveat: Being older the S7 has reached end up OS Updates unfortunately and will remain on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.1.1 if that bothers you.

  • Is there a good deal on Tab s8 plus somewhere?!

  • I bought this yesterday.. don't forget if you have student beans you can get an extra $20 off. My delivery was $8
    Got mine for $699 delivered.

  • I don't get why someone would be s8 Ultra for $800 when S10 Ultra for $1100
