These are 90hz LCD, only the full S9s are AMOLED
Does this have a pen? It shows one in the image, but not sure if I'm missing it. Anyone tried it out?
I been interested in a eink tablet but at $800+ I'm thinking a tablet might just be easier.

yes it does. not comparable to eink as its different categories but this tab isn't too bad for everyday use and taking notes.

I have an older model that includes a pen. For something that's included as part of the tablet it's decent for note taking. No brainer if you're already using Android.

I ordered the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Wi-Fi Tablet 256GB from the Amazon App, the other day.
It was advertised as 12GB RAM.
Shipped and the box says 8GB RAM.
I checked online gsmarena.com, online retailers and I couldn't find a 12GB RAM model.
Yeah, the full Tab S9 is the one that has the 12gb. I nearly accidentally bought the FE model because thats what always comes up when you search for the regular S9. It would say its S9 in google, but link is always for FE.
128gb is 6gb ram, 256gb is 8gb ram for Au version
This or the iPad A19 (2025) for a little more $530?
Depends on your use case, but the iPad will be better for everyday use. If you already have an Android phone you will miss out on a lot of the Apple ecosystem however which is a big selling point

s9 was on sale not long ago, with an old trade in got it for $380
tab s10 plus was on sale (for like 20 minutes) not long ago, got it for $500 with the keyboard cover included.

Good point. Good Guys eBay have s8 and s8+ for about $450 delivered.
Tab S9 was around this price few months back via $5 tradein. Not a great deal when comparing as this didn't have amoled screen or 8gb ram.
