$11 Cashback on Boost 65GB 28-Day Prepaid SIM for $13 Delivered (Ongoing $39, 65GB For First 3 Recharges) @ TopCashback AU

790

Costs $2 after cashback. Pay $13, get $11 cashback. Boost 65GB 28 Day Prepaid SIM is discounted to $13 from $39 (excludes eSIM).

My notes:

  • Please note that letting the number expire and not recharging is eligible for cashback.
  • Please don't deactivate or port away until you receive the cashback. Deactivate means requesting Boost to remove the number.
  • Terms and conditions are from Telstra/Boost and apply to all cashback providers. Confirmed with the rep tightarse here, here and here.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.
  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

    Thanks just ordered

  • Does anyone know if the $39 SIM card bought from the deal days ago (it was also $13 with $11 Cashback but bonus was 50GB only before 10/3) can be activated with 65GB now or not? No particular marking on the SIM package regarding the bonus data - it just says $39 starter kit.

    • UN-likely. The SIM-serial# is linked to the $39 pack & when activate, Boost-system allocate 50Gb as per the promotion.

    • IME, you get whatever bonus data applies at the time of activation, for that dollar value of starter pack.

      @brianmau
I bought from previous deal on 10/03/25, 50GB Promo
and just activated it today 17/03/25
      I got data breakdown:

      Data 25GB
      Activation Data 40GB
      Total 65GB

Consider FREE-wifi @ places you regularly-travel, eg CBD, pubs, libraries etc. I'm lucky & outlier: 8-18MB/s…mega-BYTES. Good luck.

15 week wait for payout geez

    • Boost is usually paid in about 3 months. My purchase on 24th Nov was paid on 6th Feb.

      • So 12-15 weeks usually

        • My experience with TCB since Sep-24.
          Boost ~3 mths
          LycaMobil ~ 4 mths
          SuperCheap Auto ~ 3 mths

I buy 2 Boost sims each month: Sep-24 to Feb-25, except Jan-25. 100% tracking, NO fail money-back claim. Feb-25 is pending the 3 mths wait.

There's ALWAYS some-risk….TCP/CR/SB. It's the nature of incentivise purchases via tracking: lack of transparency. It also help to read MANY posts, follow the rules & sometime walk away. Novice often fail. Hope this helps.

  • Still awaiting tracking for the similar deal couple of weeks ago. Raised a claim which is still 'waiting for review' after two weeks.

Sorry to hear. Unfortunately TopCashback does not manually add the tracking for missing cashback claims, unlike Cashrewards and ShopBack. You can check on the progress of your claim or add further info here.

You would have received an email when you lodged the claim that says to wait several months. There is usually no response during the waiting period (about 3 months). TopCashback will contact you if they need more info. You would wait for Telstra/Boost to process the claim and no need to contact anyone at this stage. I've had a few missing cashback claims (not Boost) and they were all paid in about 2 months. The waiting period depends on the retailer.

From TopCashback: Why is it taking so long for you to process?

Thanks, managed to get an order through by using a combination of things (initials instead of full name, manually entering address, using different email and payment card)

I’m still waiting on the Lyca mobile CB from November.

    • Data point: My Lyca purchase on 3/11/24 had the cashback approved on 4/3/25.

    • @MR-AM My Nov Lyca purchase was also paid on 4th Mar. Please contact TopCashback using this link. You would expect a response within 48 hours.

Damn wish they would lift the esim restriction. I need to port over but I can't wait a week for the sim

    • you should receive it by 1 or 2 days [business days] after placing order. won't take a week.

      • I'm in Perth metro and recently got the SIM in 1-2 business days too. Last year, it arrived after 2 weeks.

  • We miss the days of Profits

No wonder Tesla's sales are slumping.

      • lol, oh so that’s the reason

      • Was there ever cashback from Tesla before?

  • Just got my cashback from November purchase, took forever!

    • You mean 18weeks? Seems the default now

      • @JetBombat That's odd. You can see the date it was paid "Last Updated". My purchase on 24th Nov was paid on 6th Feb. Boost is usually paid in about 3 months.

  • How long is this ofder valid? I need it for end of May.

    • +1

SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable.

If you need something for the end of May, wait tuntil closer to that date. Deals aren't as regular as they once were, but there's at least one per month from some CB provider

      • Thanks

      • … at least one per month from some CB provider

        Would you buy Optus &/or Vodafone…reasons ?

        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/890329
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/896547

        • Vodafone from Cashrewards is unsuitable:

The service must be activated within 30 days of purchase.

        • My preference is always Boost deals (Telstra network) but nowadays I'll take the best deal available when I need a new SIM. I've used cashback deals from sellers on the Vodafone and Optus networks before such as Lycamobile, Amaysim etc.

          • @Charlie Dont Surf: Optus & Vodafone seems to have VAGUE-criteria…NEW-customers-only or 'first ever sign up' ?
CR/SB tracking seems IN-consistent, hence the onus of proof is on the buyers to keep screen-shots & record…or cancel-orders ?
NET-cost seems higher with their deals.

My understandings & happy to be corrected.

            • @ab c: My experiences have been pretty consistent across CB providers and mobile resellers. Don't recall a failed cashback transaction - have probably done 20-30 in the past few years.

  • Does anyone else have issues signing up with topcash? I can't seem to pass the mobile phone validation - it keeps saying error contact their support - and when I did they never reply.

    • Please contact TopCashback using this link. You would expect a response within 48 hours.

  • Anyone getting the error message “Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.” after clicking on the pay button?

    • I am getting this error.

      • +1

        I just got mine through.

If it still doesn’t work, try to change your email, contact no. and/or delivery address if you had previously purchased before.

        • +3

@Shikha966 After reading the comments, I tested and just bought via TopCashback app using mobile data and Chrome. I added my address manually by choosing "I can't find my address". Please see my previous comment.
          Edit: Tracked in 4 minutes.

          • @trixieb: Thank you. Plus, how to deal with error webpage when you active your new sim card? I had such, I can only active such via live chat.

    • -1

Super annoying, it is a new thing. We are just buying one for me and one for another person at the same address. It has to do with the postal address and the manual entering of address does work.
So far it does not track IP, names, credit cards, mobile numbers and email addresses - just the postal address.

  • What's the deal with this? It wasn't in the terms and conditions before, I have seen that only in the last few deals posted from Boost. Are they enforcing this?

"Please don't deactivate or port away until you receive the cashback. Deactivate means requesting Boost to remove the number."

    • +1

Telstra/Boost seem to have randomly approved and rejected when the new term is not followed. The new term was first mentioned end of May 2024. If you wish to port out, wait till it's "confirmed" but it could take more or less than 30 days from purchase. It seems to be random. The new term has been in all the Boost offers from August 2024 onwards.

  • Is anyone having problems with the boost page not coming up after clicking through topcashback? Website doesn't load on mobile or laptop browser

    • Just checked and the Boost page loads as normal via the TCB app.

      • Damn, i just tried with the app too and atill the same webpage error not loading

        • Perhaps try a different Wi-Fi or mobile data if you have access.

  • Does anyone know how long does it take to track? still not seeing anything :(

    • It tracks within 5-10 mins

  • Man mine still hasn't tracked yet……… I may lose out in this :(

  • I have received the SIM but the active process doesn't work, keeps showing the message" something went wrong". anyone knows how to fix it?
I have tried to use the passport and a different address, but nothing works.

    • Need to do it manually via Live Chat or over the phone.

  • Tracked near instantly and already received in the mail
