Right after "Accepting the conditions", it hanged and a scratch card didn't appear. I closed the restarted the app, accepted conditions again and was greeted by a scratch card coupled with an error saying I had already redeemed it. I restarted the app again and the 300 magenta points were all there.

If all else fails, you can also just "Complete your hearts profile" and get like 350 points… which can be used to claim the code.

Seems like it’s throttled by sign ups per hour, if you’re getting throttled try again at the start of a new hour.

If you get the message “you have already claimed this offer once” after scratching, then it means you have already received the hearts. Go to the Moments tab and you should be able to select the Perplexity offer.

If you go to the Moments tab and it asks you to join again, try force quitting the app and re-opening. I had to do that to be able to see the actual content on the Moments tab. Once I did that I was able to select the Perplexity offer and now have the 12 month access as per the deal.

Thanks got it working just after the hour had passed. Was getting errors on the scratch pad but then a message saying I’d already claimed. Found credits had been applied in the Moments tab, and could create account from there. So check Moments tab if having problems with scratch pad. Also, in Moments you can get the 300 credits needed by completing your profile. Great deal!

Install app

Go to scratchie

If the app crashes, try scratchie again until you get a message that you already have a code

Uninstall and reinstall the app

Go to third icon called 'Moments'

Use the magenta points to get your Perplexity Pro code

i would wait for the hour to tick over. i uninstalled the app just before… installed and then used VPN for bosnia (i think this is where it is from). Rather than playing the scratchie.. i went to the little rewards box at the top and claim. i then went to the moments section and claimed. You need to be quick as I tried 5mins later and had the timeout issue.

      Yes to a few of those. I agree that LLMs are a great thing and help with all that you've listed. I've been using freely available LLMs (Copilot, ChatGPT's free version, etc.) to do some things. This deal was a "pro" version, and I think my post was asking why this made it the "deal of the year". Someone even negged your comment (wasn't me!). It's definitely a "good" deal as I know the pro version might not be limited by a number or queries. I can't see Deal of the Year at this point though.
