Gaming PC: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5080, B650M Wi-Fi Mobo, 32GB 6000MHz RAM, 1TB SSD, 850W Gold PSU $3299 + Delivery @ TechFast

7800X3D-5080-MAR

Overwhelming demand, lack of availability, and very real price increases that have hit and will be more to come…but we got you.

We have done our absolute best to peel off another banging RTX 5080 deal at the same price point as our launch deal. We have brought in the 7800X3D which is far more available than the 9800X3D and the only realistic option with the GPU prices going upwards. The rest of the spec remains unchanged.

Delivery on these is from late March, the same batch as the Pre-order cards from the previous deal. Prices will absolutely go up again next deal, probably $200+ in line with the card pricing.

All TechFast PCs are:

  • Unmatched in terms of value, $ per frame, bang for buck - you name it, it does not get cheaper
  • Fully professionally built, stress tested
  • Provided by the most active and committed OzB PC builder for 6+ years - we are here to stay while many others have come and gone, leaving Ozbargainers in the lurch
  • Plug and play with all drivers installed, no matter which OS you select
  • Fully supported by a local team via email and here on Ozbargain
  • Fully insured for transit at no extra cost
  • Fully warranted with transit covered both ways in the event of warrantable faults

Yeah, I agree. I would be down for a Fractal Design North case and no RGB anywhere.

    • +1

Agreed, all these cases look like they are for 12 year olds. "ooooh flashy lights".

Just one option for a sleek and innocuous design.

Corsair 4000D, be quiet! Pure Base 500.

  • Hey @luketechfast, is March too hopeful for any 5090 deals?

  • Hello @luketechfast, I have placed an order for the 5070Ti build, but would like to switch to this deal please. I have sent an email to request this, could you please help in having this confirmed with the team? TF48213774378

  • I'm just not buying that this is a sole trader and has a turnover of under $75k, as per ABR listing!

    will r9 9800x 3d deals comeback?

  • Did people go for

Antec CX500M Tempered Glass ARGB M-ATX Case

    OR the
MSI MAG FORGE AIRFLOW 320R Mid Tower Case

    • I went with the Antec C3 ARGB and the 360mm cooling system

    • I went with the C3 case as well. I just like how it looks.

That MSI case looks like it would have better air flow though.

These people don’t deliver on their promise and don’t respond to customer inquiries.

Ordered a 5080, no response after 36 days on status. Won’t event refund money despite surpassing their SLA’s.

    Suspected scam con business. Beware!

    • They likely don't have stock for the 5080 at the moment, Have you emailed the sales team about it? They'll likely tell you the same thing but may be able to provide a rough estimate.

      • +2

Was meant to be on hand which is a straight out lie.

        • I was told the same thing, I wish they were a bit more transparent on how many they actually had on hand and dates for shipments of new cards ETA

          • -1

@Mxrky: they're straight out con artists. we're too lenient on bad retailers.

            • @dingodongdang: ive only had my order for about a week ish now so im not too upset yet but i understand where you are coming from

  • +9

Maybe instead of posting new deals for 5080, you should honour the original post and complete those orders first before posting new deals. People are still wating a month on with no stock/ status update. I have no idea how you guys are going to deliver end of March timeline when you still have not fulfilled the orginal order late Jan.

    • +2

plus one - they're just sitting on cash making interest

      • +3

do a credit card / paypal charge back

Companies like this only get a few warnings and if too many, they credit card provider / Paypal restricts their accounts in various ways (payout times etc)

They'll soon wake up and address the issues if they get prodded by the financial companies

        • The merchant gets charged a charge back fee too when there is a successful charge back.

I wonder if TechFast will also advertise desktops with AMD RX 9070 XT GPUs when they come out. Hopefully they will have the parts for the build.

    • +7

Sent a message on Wednesday and still no response on regards to eta or status. Just placed a chargeback. Utterly ridiculous, lack of communication and updates

    • +2

My order placed on the 31st of Jan for the original deal with the $100 'on-hand' upgrade is also still in order placed status.

I received an email as I'm hoping you have also saying that due to a 'distributor error' they actually don't have any more cards on hand.

Hard to see how a distributor error can lead to a card sold as on-hand now being off-hand… but there are no GameRock GPU's left, GamingPro are arriving next week (this deal was posted on the 26th knowing they had 0 cards on hand and likely dozens of orders with no updates)

Definitely disappointing and misleading, nearly 40 days now into the 10-14 day indication for an on-hand system/card.

There also really was no need to mislabel, I'd likely still have ordered given the price of the deal, but wouldn't be sitting waiting with no updates for weeks had they just been honest from the start.

  • +7

You guys should fullfill The previous 5080 deal before posting new one for sure… I know there is shortages but why post a new deal when previous customers are still waiting ?!? so you are giving GPU that people have been waiting for to new orders ?

  • +3

9070xt is just released and i am waiting for your deal buddy :)

    • Same here. Two other places already dropped a PC but techfast is not too fast 😂

  • +7

Still waiting on my 5080 build placed on 31/1st to change from Order placed, disappointing to say the least, asked for an update 5 days ago no reply, this company is not good with communication.

    • +1

That is a very long wait. What was the ETA when you bought it?

      • +2

        From the order confirmation email:

"The estimated time from placing your order to dispatch is 10-14 business days".

And that might have even been possible if they actually had the cards on hand to cover all of their "On Hand" orders, but that wasn't the case.

  • +6

Yes, the original order was 10-15 days with the Graphics card as

    1 x Graphics Card: Palit GamingPro RTX 5080 16GB Graphics Card - Pre-Order (ETA Late Feb/Early March)

OK, We are clearly now in "Early march" but no communication, no response to emails just silence. Not a good experience so far, will probably go for a PayPal dispute next week.

    • In the same boat.

  • Has anyone that ordered the 'cards on hand' 5080 build received their order yet?

  • +2

Hey guys - is it worth buyjng this Techfast deal now?

    • +1

Still havnt got my order from 1st of Feb. Unlikely I wont be receiving mine till April. You wont be receiving yours till may at least. Techfast reps has not responded to anyone in the past week in regards to eta status and they ghosted their customer support team

    • +1

If the money really matters and you don't mind waiting a WHILE its a good deal but there is no communication at all. they seem like the deliver eventually but if youre not to fussed paying a few hundred dollars more it would save a huge headache

    • They are making better margins than from previous deal. So you never know, they may ship them sooner to lock in the higher price

    • +1

Same situation as @Bargain4Days. I ordered Feb 1 and still haven’t got an update. Some people who were meant to have their system ship 3-4 weeks ago still haven’t got theirs either so it might even be May-June before you get yours.

  • Was going to go with this deal but the lack of component selection and the vagueness of what the components are made me decide not to.

  • +11

You now cannot convince me that the Techfast business model isn't based on earning money from interest payments instead of PC build margins.

    • Sell one deal in January advertising "On-Hand" stock you do not have on hand.
    • Take literally hundreds of orders at ~ $3400 each, and demand full payment up front.
    • Follow it up with another build listing a few weeks later gaining even more orders for stock you don't have, and have no clue when you're actually getting. Give a vague stock ETA which is almost certainly a lie.
    • Deposit all of this money into the highest yield savings account possible, and build up the interest over the next couple of months, eventually paying your wholesaler when they do get a pallet of cards in.
    • Largely ignore your paying customers pleas for an update, hitting them with "You're free to cancel at any time for a refund bro", like that's some kind of consolation in the current market.

I know the delivery timeframes are out of everyone's control, but some honesty and proactive communication goes a long way.

Maybe if these delays are foreseeable, don't request full payment up front?

So here we sit, $3.5k in the hole, waiting for an "On Hand" card build from JANUARY which is still not in build status yet. Thanks Techfast.

    • Good summary of the main plot points so far. You left out the part where the company owner gets a gold plated shark tank bar installed next to his pool with all the $3.5k payments he's sitting on currently. They said my order would be ready by late March. I will hold them to that.

    • Just do a claim through Paypal or chargeback. If they wont communicate to us, make them talk to the banks then.

    • +2

Yeah, the lack of communication is the thing that really gets to me. Even the smallest update here and there would go such a long way.

If I wasn’t checking these posts and the forum thread I’d have no idea what was happening.

I cant imagine putting this many people out like this and just going radio silent. It’s shameful.

    • Yeah, without forums I would have no idea what’s happening. Seems someone from the 5070Ti builds have started getting build updates. Interesting as those were Late March but January ones still haven’t moved to build apparently…

    • +1

I don't think they would make much at all with 2 months of interest on say 300 orders at $3500 each. Probably not even $10k before tax.

Agree with all the rest, been what, two weeks with no updates now?

      • +1

Hey just to help manage your expectations. Those of us who finally went into "Picked" Status from the deal on the 31st Jan went 5 weeks with zero update……

        • Oh I was more referring to general updates here on the forum, or replies to enquiries about status. I am not holding my breath on my order :)

Out of curiosity, is yours still in "picked"?

          • @rssluca: Mine actually just went to Built/Testing today.

  • Update on my from another previous deal

    order 31/01 - 2:45pm
    pick 06/03
    testing 17/0

  • These jokers are getting away with it …

  • +2

They need to take the word fast out of their name.

  • Update on my from another previous deal

    order 31/01 - 2:45pm
    pick 06/03
    testing 17/0
    Shipped 19/03
    Delivered 21/03

  • Mine's been stuck on testing since thursday

    • Yeh I'm in the same boat.

While other recent builds were testing for a day.

They don't seem to follow a standard process for these builds.
