5 pro is the one that has the best battery life out of all of them if anyone wonders.

    • And is titanium.

    • -2

How? I have it just lasts 1.5days if that. Neeed a garmin which lasts 20days with the same if not better features. Can get a fenix pro or epix for like 600-700 when sales are on just waiting for another sale. Sick of 1.5days if that of battery life. Great if you WFH or sit in a cubicle but i work in the field and its crap having 1.5days of battery life on top of this s25ultra which doesnt even last half a day

      • +2

wut? I have s25 ultra and it lasts nearly two days. You must be using it really heavily and maybe full screen brightness + QHD resolution? If not this isn't normal you should test the battery.

        • I swapped to my travel phone recently to compare (asus zenfone 9) lasted 2 days same usage. Even the Pixel is better as google know how to optimise their own OS. but im locked to Samsung ecosystem with smart tags watches etc. I'm on the road 3-4hours a day so waze gets used a lot. Its the unnecessary apps samsung puts on and One UI 7 has stressed apps for something stupid like incorrect font use. I am trying battery saver now mode i get an extra hour. Its 1pm and its at 23%

          • @xxJAGUARxx: I think it might be the auto screen brightness if you have waze up on your dashboard in the sun, check in battery usage graph what eats your battery most. I do see sometimes that when the phone gets really hot, the battery does drain faster, no idea why… so might be good to see if yoi can cover it in a shade if so

          • @xxJAGUARxx: Rip….I agree, but I changed my note 20 for the basic S25 because the battery was RS on the Note 20. Lucky to last half a day, so got the S25. Same issue. The phone is chewing through the battery, especially when using Google maps or Waze. I've shut off a lot of apps notifications etc. but I'm pretty p…d off with how crap the battery is on the new phone.

The 5pro in this deal is $169. Can't compare it to a $600-700 watch.

Also I'm getting 2 days easy out of my S25U with pretty heavy use. There's something wrong if you're only getting half a day consistently.

I was about to get the samsung ultra watch which is bigger than the garmins but it only lasts 2.8 - 3 day battery life. So samsung just dont know how to optimize battery life if their lives depended on it. My mates garmins go for 20 days when we go overseas i cant even see how mamy steps here when i go gym because its just died

Can't compare Garmin os with android os

  • Are these Australian stock? Does Samsung Pay and Google Wallet work on them?

    • -1

Gpay should work. Dont use samsung pay its useless as per my experience

      • +3

Samsung pay works well, I use it all the time.

      • How is it useless? I use it all the time and it seems to work fine.

      • I haven't had any issues with it with my watch 5

      • if app update available, it doesn't let us use the app unless updates, and auto app updates never worked for me on watch. so manually have to do it.

  • Just got the s25 only to find that the Frontier 3 is no longer supported, so I now have to get a new watch. Wish I'd known beforehand :-(

    • Whoa that's my watch… I never knew that it would just be dropped like that. Maybe limited features but not disabled completely

      • Yep…..evidently only supported up to the s24. Wasn't happy! Watch is still going strong, but now it's juast a watch!

    • To be fair, 8-9 years support for a smart watch is pretty reasonable

    USED

Not refurbished, original old battery, band face. Lets try to keep honest here.

    • damn thanks for that

      • I'm concerned about the battery

    • got watch 5 pro LTE from FB marketplace last year for $199, great battery life with sold build.

  • -1

Prices appear to be out of sync. So Watch 5 pro cellular grade A is $239.

    Did they jack the prices?

    • As stated in the first line of the OP, add it to cart and discount auto-applies.

      • So it does - a hidden discount is doubly welcome.

  • I got transit cover fee at the checkout of $8. Does anyone lese get this?

  • can we just default to google wallet. i dont want to use samsung wallet

    • +1

samsung should stop wasting money on those apps and reduce prices on their phones.

  • Watch 5 pro or watch 6 classic?? Not a heavy watch user. Is this website reliable. And lastly is it Australian stock?

    • IIRC 5 pro has a bigger battery. 6 classic has the rotating bezel.

      • Thanks. I'm relatively new to samsung watches and don't have any clue about it. I have a thin wrist. Just want a good watch. I'm not heavy user so battery won't be a problem

        • +3

I had 5 pro, and even sold a few.

If you have a thin wrist and not a heavy user, the 6 classic is the better buy.

5 pros selling point is ruggedness/longevity, and the 6 classic should be faster and supported longer and overall more pleasing.

          • @Bisky1: Thanks mate. Have you bought anything from this website? Is this AU stock?

            • @kingkhan1990: I bought all my Samsung stuff from Samsung. Lots of stackable discounts/ epp.

I have no association with this website, just plenty of familiarity with Samsung and tech

      • 5 pro has touch bezel

  • +1

Using a Watch 5 Pro for over a year, Great battery, lasts almost 3 days. I like the look of rotating bezel, Should I get a Watch 6 Classic for a change?

  • Do these work perfectly with a pixel 9 pro? I've heard certain features could be missing.

    • +1

      some health features won't work.

  • 5 pro is a tank. Super solid. I treat it like crap and it still looks brand new.
