Then if you have an old loyalty voucher code (10% which I got from the S90c fiasco) and it stacks you down to $2,939.49!

If you happen to have the Amex $100 off with $500 spend —> $2,839.49! Mod note: AmEx $100 off is a statement credit (cashback offer). It cannot be included in the title price.

  • Anyone got a 10% loyalty code they're not going to use and willing to share…?

    • +1

Just do the online chat, if you already have a previous Samsung product, take a photo and they will give you a code.

  • +1

You forgot 5% Shopback at the moment too.

    • +4

Assuming this is a joke but - on the off chance someone tries for it - shouldn't be eligible due to the use of a discount code (or 3).

      • +2

        Won’t be eligible due to…shopback

  • Anyone have a 10% off code they wont use? Cheers :D

Is this good buying at sub $3k considering it is WOLED?

I was hanging out for the c855 85 circa $2.7k again but seems stock is so low that we won’t see that price again.

Used for streaming services and watching the F1

    • The new TCL line up this year is good. TCL QM6K almost on same level as Sony Bravia 9. Now we can only guess that TCL QM7K and QM8k will be much better.

here is the comparison TCL QM6k vs Bravia 9

    • also hanging out for a C855 85" which has now been superseded by the QM6K

Not sure when the QM6K will launch however

      • Decided to purchase this as our old sony led is on its last legs and could be waiting a while for a comparative price on the 25-26 tcl range.

Contacted Samsung chat as I had a warranty repair on a washing mashing and they offered me a voucher at the time but I never used it and it was expired. They gave me a 15% off voucher but it didn’t stack with the 5% first purchase.

        $2922.30 delivered

Solid TV, good panel but I dislike Samsung OS and the remote.

    • +1

Surprised people still stick to the tv’s os. They’re slow as and apps are not as updated. Enthusiasts will always use a separate streaming box for better experience. Get a Google TV Streamer or an Apple TV.

      • +3

My Sony X90K's Google TV interface is almost exactly the same as my Google Chromecast 4K that I've got on another TV, and it performs fine.

Some TVs actually have a passable OS on them and the power to run them.

        • I understand. But they almost always have less powerful hardware, and limited app and os support. They get worse overtime. You said it yourself, passable :)

If im spending this much for a tv, surely i can afford a better separate streaming device for a much more enjoyable experience. Just my two cents.

      • Cannot watch live TV on any of the plug in system services therefore forced to use TV’s OS sometimes. Streaming TV through their apps is rubbish.
I also have Apple TV & Google Chromecast.
Sony OS is easily the best native system on the big name TV’s.

      • if you watch TV only once in a while or just do youtube and such there’s 0 reason to spend money on apple TVs and such

        • +1

Sure but this a post for a 77in oled tv worth 3 grand. People buying this won’t just watch tv once in a while or just do youtube.

          • -1

@ozchobie: Why not? This is Australia with plenty of people with big houses that have big living rooms

Many people just buy because it looks good I certainly had no interest in buying. TV before I bought my own place.

Also the built in OS for this TV is more than enough for majority of the people, it doesnt take 5 minutes to open youtube or other apps like you think

$2939.49 with $550 Trade in, 5% off 1st App Order, 10% Loyalty Voucher

  • How could one get a 10% discount voucher from Samsung?

    • +1

Try customer service in web chat. Just saying you’re on the fence and a code would help sway you to purchase. Previous users have just asked straight out and works more often than not

  • -3

    Please share a code please!

  • -3

Does anyone have a spare code that they’re not currently using? :)

  • -2

Deal looks good with the 10% loyalty code. Anyone has a code they are not using? Thanks!

  • +10

Yo stop spamming comments for codes here, there’s a thread for that. Otherwise, hop in to live chat later and ask for a code, they just need a photo of any samsung product with a serial on it to generate one for you

  • -4

Similar boat for me, would appreciate a discount code if you have.

  • Thank you.

  • Price seems alright but too many things to do, in particular the trade in to be in the price as the topic

    • +1

Historically the normal trade in price has either been $50 or $100.

Just jump on marketplace for a free TV, you don’t need cables nor it need to work.

Guys, I just asked samsung hd how to get new client 5% discount code, they gave me a 15% code - maybe you should try too?

  • is it me or the math doesnt make sense $550 Trade in, 5% off 1st App Order, 10% Loyalty Voucher should be 2839.8

  • For those who have samsung offer emails - check your old emails for AV or audio visual unique codes. managed to get a 15% code working. starts with V15- (note it replaces the 10% loyalty code, doesn't stack)

    • it won't stack with 5% first app purchase once I use the 15% code

      • good point, I was about to ask how I could get the 5% working - guess you already figured out it wont work

        • So in the end, instead of using the apps to order, I only use browser so I can save that 5% first order for something else

  • What counts as a trade-in?

    • Pretty much any TV. $40 from FB will get you $500 or $750 off, depending what size you buy

  • Ministry approved a 65". Refuses the 77". Is it worth the trouble?

    • 77" is cheaper isn't it

      • True. I was budgeting to get a run-out 65" for sub $2500 though.

        • If you could stretch the extra $450, you will be glad to get that 12" extra since you probably be using it at least 5 years

  • Great deal OP. Wish the trade in deal could be used in rural areas but I get why they can’t.

  • +1

Stacking was easy, I sent the chat a pic of a serial number from a broken American fridge off Reddit for the 10% code, downloaded and ordered through the app for the 5% plus the Tv recycling discount….easy peasy. Got a couple thou Qantas points on top…thanks op

    • how did you get qantas points?throught credit card?

    • +1

Just saw this was woled, gonna cancel and wait a few months for some quality qd-oled pricing

  • so 77" is the way to go and not 83"? only up to 77" is qd oled?

    • +1

      77" and 83" are W-Oled in Australia.

      • +1

thanks, if thats the case contemplating really hard for 83" at $4050.

        • +1

thats what I ended up going, and got HN to price match the stacked $4050 ;)

          • @Spaldo: wow why didn't i think of that too! i had jb gift cards tho they probably didn't honor it.

  • Sad that they don't deliver to Tassie anymore :(

  • Would they take trade in a broken monitor? I can say it was used as a tv with apple tv!

  • +1

I was set on getting this TV but then put off when I found out it is a WOLED panel in AU, does anyone have any experience or advice as to how much better the QD OLED panel is on the 65" compared to this one?
I had kind of talked myself into getting the 77" S95 for the QD panel but doubt they will have a deal on that as good as this one.
Not in a rush to buy, had thought once S95F is released then maybe there would be a deal going but at <$3k it is very tempting

    • +2

Check RTings for comparison of the technologies. From what I can gather WOLED isn't as good as QD overall. however it's still an amazing OLED panel and what you'd find in the LG C series (it's literally a LG panel). There are some strengths over QD like better reflections in bright rooms. I was initially put off too but after researching it more it's clear that the difference isn't much and at this price point the price difference is vastly greater than the differences in tech so a great deal for a 77"oled. just my 2c

      • +1

Thanks mate, I'm thinking the same too. At best, the S95 could go down to $4k but is it $1k better tech than the S90 - I very much doubt it

    • no only 77” is WOLED check the serial code to find out

My 65” is QD OLED and most people here report the same for 55 and 65”

  • damn seems like out of stock :( hope they restock the online store before the special ends

    • Same. My lg tv just died today

  • +1

finally pulled trigger on 83”. thanks OP

  • Pulled trigger on 55" for $1273. Thanks OP

  • Anyone knows if jb hifi would match the price or getting close to it? I have some gift cards to use up

    • +1

Show them this and give it a shot: https://imgur.com/O7DwDoc

    • +1

tried and failed. they could only price match price on website without coupons.

  • I cannot find the price @ $2939.49 with $550 Trade in. It is still $5999.00. Also not in stock atm.

  • I waited in making a decision but was super keen on this one.

Is this deal over and done or just out of stock?
