Kelvinator 420L Refrigerator KTM4200WB-R $598 @ Masters

120

Just grabbed one of these for a friend late yesterday. At the Harvey Norman Bundall store they had these on the floor for $598. Harvey Norman had them in their catalogue for $688 and Masters had them in their catalogue for $744. HN had no stock, so we price matched and purchased at Masters, who had plenty.

I see Masters now lists them at $598. It's a good price for a quality brand 420l fridge, normally you'd be looking closer to ~$800.

I forgot to mention it's a 2.5 star energy rating, I think it was 469kwh. Not bad for a larger fridge. I was told that the warranty is 2 years on the entire thing, plus another 3 years on the compressor and system.

    awesome price.

Masters seem to have these great deals for individual items every so often. I bagged a Whirlpool Dishwasher White ADP8000WH for $392 6 months ago.

price comparisons showed next lowest price to be over $100 more.

    • True. I posted the samsung stainless steel fridge here and seems to bee almost $200 cheaper than other places http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/88695

    • Masters must have something in their stock system that raises a flag when there's a price-match, which somebody subsequently reviews and alters their online catalogue price.

This is the second time we've done a price-match at Masters, then seen the online price drop to equal that amount on their website the following (or same) day. I assume it's so they can avoid having to pay the 10% difference? (or perhaps just to stay on top of the game?)

    • And 9 months ago they had them for $336

      • What a shame it's not 9 months ago.

      • $336? You are kidding, right? That makes me think that there must be something wrong with them.

  • In SA, they have a store in Mt Gambier but not in Adelaide.
    It is quite strange.
