Hard to find a mini french door that's less than 800mm wide. I think this model will be discontinued soon. It was selling at $1,799 and now 45% off selling at $999.

    Bugger, 500L+ fridge that is less than 800mm wide is hard to find and this is a great price to boot.

    Unfortunately
    a quick review of other people that bought it seems like the compressor/fan/freezer is a bit of a dud.

        I have an Electrolux 491L French Door, scrapes in at 796mm. Narrow space and wanted plumbed water, very limited options. Does the job!

      Sure, some of them do. But if your fridge does you're not going to have a happy ending.

      I'd be careful with this model. Very poor quality control on post covid built units.

    We have had this fridge for over 4 years due to my wife wanting French doors to fit into a narrow space.

    Pros:
    Works well imho - never had any maintenance
    Crisper is big enough for 4 (2 kids)
    Freezer is a good size
    Hides well in our black kitchen
    Has a door beeper when left open
    Easy to change temps of both fridge and freezer on the outside door
    Has kids lock with release button up high enough on door
    Hitachi motors are reliable, not sure how genuine that part is though

    Cons:
    Freezer drawer can be very annoying to close at times
    The springs on the fridge door broke after a year or so - still works fine though
    A little noisy - does make some unusual sounds too.

    For me this fridge seems like a bargain for anything under $1200 - tempted to buy a backup one for Ron, when this one packs it in lol

        that expression gets used in my wife's family as well, the explanation I was given was "for 'later on' ", contracting into "lateron" and then dropping the first bit leaving "Ron"
