Fit & finish feels more premium on the F&P model compared to the Westinghouse in my opinion. The bearings on the drawers, especially on the freezer will make it much in easier day to day use with less fluffing around. The F&P does feel better built compared to the Westinghouse last time I've had a look.
Oh, good feedback. This is the kind of stuff I don't think to ask :)
I'd highly recommend going to a store and feeling it before buying, you see and feel those things that you don't see online.
The F&P fridges feel leagues above the rest, especially Westinghouse, LG & Samsung in my opinion. Can't comment on new models but we've gotten one from 12 years ago and it's still running like a champ.
doesnt look like the WQE6000SB is plumbed.
I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this deal. Are Fisher and Paykel fridges reliable? Was looking for something similar to this fridge, plumbed at around the $2k mark.
Yeah I should have called out that plumbing wasnt a need for me.
Hard to know. There are good and bad examples in both brands.
I think Fisher and Paykel have a higher price mainly because they were a well known NZ/Australian brand, but these days all their stuff is made by Haier in China.
Yeah, this was my incling. Would be great if they publish the country of make on products!
this is good price for newer model. I brought it for $2400 for old model when TGG was running 20% off storewide in 2023.
How would this compare to the Westinghouse WQE6000SB 541L French Door Fridge at nearly $1,000 less?
Keen to know if I'll likely end up noticing difference between these two?
