    I went yesterday. Picked up a Tom Tom Ride V2 GPS for motorbikes to put on my scooter for $599. Same one at JB HI FI for $744. Saved myself $150 - I'm happy.

  I went yesterday, bad experience there. Haven't been to a harvey norman for yonks. Didn't know they had two different cashiers for various stuff they have. So if you decided to buy a variety of stuff across the range, like some in computers and some in electrical… then you are really screwed. Once you hit the cashier after like 1hr wait in line and then you find out you only can pay for your electrical stuff but not your computer stuff which ticked me off (didn't want to go back and line up again for another 1hr, I just left). I recommend bringing someone along to line up in both if you are going to get alot of stuff there.

  I found it wasn't worth the petrol it took to get there. No deals that aren't generally available right now, for anything I was looking for anyway. Not a genuine staff sale.

  i got a western digital 1 TB ext hard drive for $179.
  Original barcode price was $249 on some and $219 on others. They had a $194 sale and I mentioned the supplier staff special and he did for $179 - not really a huge bargain but not bad for western digital i think. i could probably get cheaper elsewhere but maybe only like $5. I was in the area and was out in 15 minutes so no waste of time or petrol

    What? so the "staff sale" prices they had posted around the place wasn't the "supplier staff" price? I thought there was no point in showing the flyer because it seemed like the supplier staff special was given to everyone. Damn - maybe I should have shown them the flyer after all…

  i'm didnt notice if there was a "staff sale" price - I noticed prices were supposedly marked down from normal RRP. I just understood that to be a normal special and then tried to get further discount.
