I wanted to do the car seat challenge advertised, but can't find the terms and conditions. When I rang them they said they wouldn't match online pricing, baby buntings 15% off sale or any price under their margin. Can't find it written anywhere - I want the easy adjust seat…
Can you tell me what's the difference between this one and easy adjust? Curious to know why easy adjust is so expensive , ie around $500
Do you mean Tilt and Adjust? The AHR Tilt and Adjust scores very high in the CREP crash ratings but I can't really explain why it's so expensive, it is atop seat though!
The easy adjust has an extra 8cm height and the straps adjust up and down with no need to rethread straps. Also has speakers with an iPod jack meaning I don't have to listen to nursery rhymes! It is also only 450mm wide whereas the others are 480-490 which is quite a lot when you are considering needing to potentially squeeze in 3 car seats along the back seat if you will have 3 kids under 8
With the price match should be able to get it for $450 and also get an $80 voucher
It looks like it has been ozbargained - "There are currently no products in this category"
My wife picked up one of these from the castle hill store today for $239
There are 3 left
I just ordered one over the phone… limited colours still available.
…
This is cheap, but new baby seats complying to the Euro isofix standard will be coming out soon (2013). Should be leaps and bounds ahead of the existing seats/existing standards.
The standard won't be out until mid 2013, and seats will undergo testing thereafter, so if a seat is needed for now (or in the near future,) this one is a great price. If you chose to sell after isofix seats are available here, you'd get a large part of your money back anyway.
Unlikely that ISOFIX will make for greater safety in seats. It sounds like it might reduce incorrect fitting a lot - according to CHOICE. - http://www.choice.com.au/reviews-and-tests/babies-and-kids/t…
Wow thats cheap!
