After heaps of requests the extremely popular 2025 version of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro is back on sale for less and it packs a lot of punch for the price. This deal is strictly limited and applies to both the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants in the colour grey. Once exhausted the price will go to US$216.49 (~A$344.95).

Compared to the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2023 the main improvements include the newer and faster flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8300 CPU that blows the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 out of the water making it far more suitable for gaming, a brighter 12.7" 600 nits display (was 400 nits), more future Android updates (currently ships with Android 14), 45W fast charging (was 20W), the option of 12GB RAM and Bluetooth 5.3.

Other features include ZUI 16 (Android 14), 12.7" 144Hz 2944x1840 LCD display with 600nits brightness, Widevine L1 DRM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 storage with microSD support, 8GB or 12GB RAM, 10200mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 4 JBL Speakers with Dolby Atmos, 2 inbuilt mics, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint reader, WiFi 6 ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB-C 3.2 port with 4K@60Hz video out and pogo pins for a keyboard.

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

    • When did you order? and Which state are you in?
Im stuck on: "Your package arrived at airport. Awaiting transit.
Feb 7, 11:37 AEST" I don't know which airport though. I ordered on the 28th of Jan.

      • I ordered on the 25th Jan. I'm in Melbourne.

You can see my package entire tracking history here. It took 16 days from the date I place the order to when I receive my package.

        • Thank you for the screenshot!
I think you can use ADB to remove the Lenovo installer. But I don’t know if it’ll break things.

Why would you install the Samsung store ?

          • @blueduck4: I have a Samsung phone, and Quick Share is updated via the Galaxy Store.

I tried installing the Galaxy Store on the XPP yesterday. The app closed itself, saying the device is not supported.

I won't bother with the ADB as I don't want to break anything. I would consider flashing the device with the global ROM, which would have Quick Share. A custom ROM such as Lineage would be great, but I'm not holding my breath as previous XPP iteration did not receive any custom ROM support.

  • My Xiaoxin Pro Pad 2022 is broken. I think my cleaner dropped and smashed the screen. God I loved that thing. Is this a good replacement? No more OLED though 😞

  • Received mine yesterday, had a great time setting it up. Really happy with the purchase.

Now looking to get the official keyboard and case, wonder if Clear can convince them to discount it?

  • Just tested my display with an xrite calibrator and found that it's showing a max brightness of 400 nits instead of 600.

Curious if anyone has both the 2023 and 2025 version and compared the displays side by side?

Doesn't seem like the 2025 version has a compass sensor as well which is a little annoying for navigation use.

Just received my unit (8GB/ 256GB) but I've decided it's surplus to my needs. Let me know if anyone wants it. I've also got a compatible TPU case, official pen and glass screen protector also. Located in Melbourne.
